That is the rule. Doesn’t say up to that punishment, and rightly so. If you had paid a kings ransom for your company to be front and Center, then the WC came out on his own sponsors where your business should have been, you would be seriously pi55ed off.

These things, while they seem insignificant, aren’t to the sponsor who has shelled out to have their name on the race suits. 

That said, fans have been short changed in terms of seeing the best rider in the world tonight and it also potentially impacts the integrity of the final outcome of the series.
