Some reasonable racing later on but racing was satisfactory without being able to call it a good meeting. There was a Stock Car meeting last Saturday so the track would have been scraped back of all shale then relaid after the Stock Car meeting probably Sunday. We have had poor weather, as has the rest of the country, all week so has probably not had time to bed together. The amount of rain we had Thursday night/Friday morning did not help matters. IronScorpion 1,407 Posted April 6 The riders knew about the dip, some even inspected it & with multi racing lines at Scunthorpe, could the incidents been avoided? Jaizer 2,867 Posted April 6 Considering the rain thought the track was pretty decent. At Glasgow we had a dip going into 3rd bend for years, the brave used it the less brave avoided it. As roo boy (Do we still call him that?) said about Charles Wright he had to commit to it to get the advantage of it.
