Funnily enough, when I went back to bed, I did think about the need for a minimum number of meetings as a threshold. You're probably looking at 3 in order to give at least a semi reasonable sample balance and avoid freak results. I suspect it's an idea which wouldn't work in practice. Otherwise, it would've been introduced before now. -

Cook will end up there, one of if only to get the full house of Premiership clubs ridden for! If he does and rides to his ability he’s a good signing on circa 5.4 average, but there’s always the risk of his going missing for periods of the season as has been seen before. -

Maybe if the baby offset engines weren't so bloody fickle and everyone rode an engine that was more flexible, for want of a better term, less meetings would be called off as the bikes would be able to cope in conditions that varied a bit
