I personally don't think that any rider who is going to be absent for a certain percentage of meetings in a season should be permitted to ride in a league whoever they are. Injury can't be helped but one of the things which gets up people's noses more than anything IMO is facilities for riders who are raving elsewhere and not for the team they signed for.

Not in the Champ perhaps but he's been at the level you'd expect in the Prem.

Problem with McDairmid he is riding in the top flight in Poland and is also in the SGP2 meetings so means he will miss loads of Friday’s. With so many championship teams running on a Friday a rider like that is unfortunate going to miss lots of meetings. Next year, Cairns and Rushen will probably have the same issue so would you also not sign them?
