I comsider myself a dedicated speedway fan - not as much as I used to be, but still - and will watch virtually any speedway meeting, but good grief that was possibly the worst meeting I've ever seen. Zero racing, crap track, crap home side...it genuinely had nothing interesting.  I genuinely feel for Birmingham and their fans, but in all honesty, what's the point at this stage? That team clearly isn't bothered, they'll struggle to win another meeting all year, and they're not even entertaining. I don't know what the answer is, but this ain't it. Also, I'm in full support of some atmosphere in British speedway (christ knows it needs it), but what was "barmy army" stuff all about? Just sounded like 2 or 3 annoying fans shouting incessantly.

Good win for the Stars. Doyle clearly not fit in his first 2 rides, gating and trying to ride smoothly round inside. Turned up to avoid 28 day ban so he can ride later in week in Poland? Ipswich seemed to crumble after he pulled out, or did it just give the stars a morale boost. Either way, it turned the match.  Klindt and to a lesser degree Lawson looked really poor in first few rides then suddenly turn into match winners. Good debut for Jody, very promising. Nki was trying hard, but for whatever reason wasn't quite working for him tonight. Kvech and Bomber just brilliant... After PK pulled out I feared the worst so to end up with a good win was a massive bonus. After Emil, the only real Ippo rider to show much fight was Jenkins

At this present time you only have about 7.54 to play with to replace Cook,who is apparently back next week anyway.You wouldn't really get a number 1 on that average imo.Lambert would come closest though on around a 7.61 I think.Lambert could replace Klindt? Good all round performance last night in the end,with only Iversen not performing.He'a had a strange season stat wise,only 3 race wins until he wins 3 at Oxford on Thursday,then he had 2 last places all season until he gets 3 last night,without his 2 exclusions oʻ🤔

No disrespect to Mountain or Simon Lambert but the must be better options out there to replace Dan, not that he can be replaced the way he was riding b4 his injury tbf, just don't think Hawkins/Louis choice of guests to cover are the best.

Well down to KL for the win, Witches carrying too many passengers tonight and KL making the most of Kvech at reserve. If Ipswich can get their full team back for next months visit will be interesting to see the result with no Kvech at reserve. Not sure who will be at reserve but can’t see them scoring as much as Kvech.
