I suppose it means he can now afford to get a ferry to travel to the UK rather than as suggested, allegedly, by another team 🤴, a rowing boat and bus. 

that was at the start of the season though wasn’t it? People change their minds all the time. Stick a contract under his nose and give him the opportunity to earn more money and there’s always the chance of a change of heart. 

I think Boughen’s problems started when Oxford removed him from the rising star and brought Luke Killeen in as rising star..they still kept Boughen but he was in far more difficult heats ..no wonder he struggled  plus Oxford then rode him at number 3 in the Championship which was an awful position for a rider of his age and experience. he should have stayed the rising star and rode at 2 in the championship…Oxford did nothing for his confidence

Well hopefully when the second round comes around both teams will be at full strength.

That’s exactly what I said Kelv and none of it matters does it. My point was a response to “Ipswich wouldn’t have won even with a fully fit team” when there is every chance they MAY have and the reasons I’ve given are more than valid. Not sure 7+1 from four rides from Cook’s RR was much of a handicap either the way he’d been riding this season over here.
