No exactly this you don’t often get to the very top by being nice! However Jackie boy ain’t there yet - if you are going to be cocky and arrogant about beating a rival you’d best make sure you don’t get out gated by two of his team mates in the most vital heats of the night! There is also respect between rivals or at least should be! It was good to see the acknowledgment after Masters has beaten him for a 2nd time! He will get there - cracking rider - he maybe will repeat what his brother did one day - just a bit of a walloper sometimes! -
Makes me laugh when people think being cocky and arrogant is a bad trait in a professional sportsperson. You generally don't get to the top level if you don't have that mindset.
