I said the other day, the team who finishes top should be champions, top four contest an end of season knockout cup, two semis and a final. 

Five teams, Four places, it’s not really that exciting. Five teams and two places, that would change the dynamic. Always said too many play off spots, for a system of four play off spots you need at least a eight team league minimum, how can you justify finishing in the bottom half of the table (4th in 7) and still being potentially crowed champions, no credibility in that.

A multi round championship would interest me, but would enough people ( and riders) support it to make it viable? 

So? Not everyone can be British champion get off your backside and ride  Do you think in recent years people expected King or Schlein or Ellis or Wright to win it but they did  Lawson rides and you never know on one night what might happen  Have it over 4 rounds the chance of a shock goes
