Been looking at this years away results. Remove Berwick in the ko cup and Poole in the league, in all the others comets got 40 points or more and most meetings went to a last year decider, which I think is a good effort, often it was the home form that cost us,  2 big defeats against Poole and Glasgow, and a couple of more poor performances, cost us the bonus points, also apparently we never had our same team in any home meeting  . So we were not far off a decent team this year. Personally I witnessed many good away performances and last year deciders, not gonna mention Poole or Berwick in the cup 😒. As for next season, would like batch back, but maybe going south, Tate zischke is a must, Jonas did a good job, but depends on polish fixtures whether he would like a return . No issues in bringing Vinnie and Max back but Vinnie needs to sort out his machinery. For me kemp is too inconsistent and poor machinery. Let's all wait and see what the promotion brings to the GT tyres Northside arena, a lot could depend on budget, as we know the crowds need to be better, hopefully under lights at 7pm may help

Looking forward to this. Poole have a great side capable of entertaining and Redcar prepare their track for toe-to-toe racing (the polar opposite of what Poole do), so it should be a great meeting. May the best side win.

Probably, makes no difference to the crowd. Most people will probably watch the GP's on demand anyways these days. The only time over the last 27 years we've avoided running alongside the GP's was when we had a rider in it. Running up against Workington Reds/Town at 3pm on Saturday/Sunday, is a far bigger issue in the Town IMO.

I don’t think people had Belle Vue as favourites at the start of the season…most of the previews I saw said they were too top heavy with Kurtz and Bewley eating up a lot of the averages and they had a long tail and weak reserves…  obviously things changed and they quickly became favourites and strangely I think their best opposition would have been Kings Lynn who ride Belle Vue better than anybody else but haven’t been good enough elsewhere. we have had one sided seasons before though and with no play offs so basically the title being won in May…Cradley 83 the stand out but a few others as well…  

Even so, JL has to have three rides so Redcar need to capitalise on this. As far as Edwards goes, rather an enigma. Not the sort of rider you can rely on to always deliver the goods.
