Holder has to be the first choice for a wildcard as we was right up there till his injury. 2nd choice is between Bewley and Lindgren, who would also both probably be in the top 7 without injuries, but surely one of them has to go to whoever finishes 8th ? With 4 riders separated by 1 point chasing 3 places, it would be very harsh to not give another shot to the one that misses out. So which way do you go ? The 41 year old with a fantastic record but never been Champion and unlikely to be now, or the 27 year old potential future champion who would probably have been in the title fight this year ?

Well that didn't go according to plan, for either team I guess loosing a 12 point lead ain't great, being 6 points down isn't either. Poole's mechanicals didn't help the cause, in a perfect world they wouldn't happen I guess. Jordy Loftus did help much either, I was expecting a couple points. A 6 point deficit isn't the end of the world, sure Redcar do have some good riders but it will come down to who steps up tomorrow.

So a 6 point deficit for Poole to make up. Time for another 60 point home win methinks. Hopefully Lewi and Slater are fit enough to race and Cooper and Rocketman can get their machinery sorted.
