Tero shot himself in the foot a bit... he applied for a Tier 2 Sports Persons Visa and it was taking ages to come through so he thought he would apply for a UK Tier 5 Temporary Worker Visa in the mean time... however what Tero didn't realise is/was you have to let the process run its course and you cannot apply for a different Visa whilst one is still being processed... So he got a phone call of the Visa and Immigration people asking him what he was doing (was it dodgy and was he trying to enter the country illegally and other such questions) so then the whole thing got put on stop until he gave some acceptable answers. So when you say he broke the rules yes he did technically speaking... however was it malicious or wilful... No... he's just a bit thick... which also explains the minor issue he had/is having with the track and trace people when rather than being in the house where he said he would be in isolation he was on the M6 heading to Plymouth for a meeting with Scunny... Not the brightest bulb in the box but his heart is in the right place... Regards THJ

Yes it is… You’re on the South coast f f s, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Berwick are all 8 hours away, that is the middle of nowhere, just like Glasgow and Edinburgh are. All meetings that are for ALL teams, should be hosted somewhere CENTRALLY, not on France’s doorstep

Connor Mountain was brilliant for us up at Newcastle and I was gutted when he didn't sign for us. He held his own as a third heatleader when really, he shouldn't have been in that position to start with. I am really jealous that yous have signed him. Connor will easily hold his own at number 4 imo. Or even number 3 1. Nick Morris 2. Dan Thompson 3. Connor Mountain 4. Kyle Howarth 5. Richie Worrall 6. Joe Thompson 7. Anders Rowe WHAT A TEAM!! Always gonna have one amazing reserve (two tbh if Joe kicks on also) and 3 brilliant heatleaders. I would put Kyle at 4 to strengthen heat 14, so there's a strong end to the meeting. And as I say, Connor should hold his own at number 3 imo

Connor Mountain is the secret weapon in the side. He rode most of the season at 3 & 5 for Newcastle, Connor will be a second string for Leicester so he's capable of scoring big and upping his average by a point imo. Leicester & Glasgow both look very good sides to me.

Like the diamonds last season & it wasn't to bad at Newcastle at least we had speedway

Total rubbish. Having an event for teams spread throughout the UK on the South coast makes little sense. The same could be said if it was scheduled to take place at Ashfield or Armadale.

Typical southerner, close minded and no concept of the UK at all, have a look at a map for once Sheffield to Poole 4hrs 16mins Sheffield to Glasgow 4hrs 26mins Manchester to Poole 4hrs 38mins Manchester to Edinburgh 4hrs 11mins Sheffield is perfect and the closest to the middle possible, Belle vue the second best for fans of ALL teams in the UK

Good signing in Tero. Fans don't travel in numbers away from Home these days. All about Home form to keep the fans happy and if you're strong at Home then the fans will keep returning every week. Tero averages over 9 at Home so it's a no brainer. Should nick a play-off place as well if your Home form is good. Scunny should pick up a couple of wins on the road at Newcastle and Birmingham as well.

Unfortunately there were a lot of resources spent coming up with the name "Championship Summer Competition" so had to cut costs elsewhere.

Danny Smith would be a good choice of a 3.00 rider, rode well for Newcastle before they dropped out

Not sure about Kemp, he may have hit a plateau. Seems to be behind Brennan, Palin, Flint and Rowe now in terms of CL and I can see others like Gilkes, Edwards and Thompson twins improving too. 2022 will define whether Kemp is going to be another promising youth who hits a 6 point CL ceiling or kicks on to be a bona fide heat leader. I can see Brennan, Palin, Flint and Rowe doing that, not convinced Kemp is going to.

My take on a 'fans favourite' isn't necessarily down to a riders performance week in week out? I think (and only think...) that Shanes and Morris, both make a lot of time to chat and interact with fans before, during and after meetings....just my observation. Both very approachable/affable riders/personalities. Basically, nice guys....I'm sure Paco is regarded in the same mould and will no doubt be one of the next signings. (as quoted by Col...)

I believe over the years the options have been taken away & now all the fans are left with is a set menu. There is now nothing for the terrace manager to discuss. All that can be done in todays speedway is to put a TS in when you go 6 behind & this is only once. I think teams should start with a named squad of ten riders working with a team on a set average & then must track a team of riders below that limit all season so that teams are kept level all season. The top 5 should be able to be positioned where they are most suited & paired up as the manager wants. Tac Subs should be unlimited but only when 8 or more behind with riders only allowed one per meeting.
