6 negative lateral flows and 2 negative PCR’s I’ve had to do this week just to stay at work … so if I actually did live in Scottish land I’d be shoving them up Wee Jimmy’s jinker and telling her to settle down But I am as English as you and she has no bearing or reason to question my cough4 points

It doesn't need to mention the league cup. The League Cup precedes the Premiership so changes can't be made until 25% of league fixtures are completed. It's not difficult to understand. Also Jake Allen is a declared rider whose 28 day contract is irrelevant as he WASN'T granted facility status. The rules the same if the League Cup Final happens after 75% of Premiership fixtures, team won't be allowed changes for that fixture either. It really isn't hard to understand at all4 points

Rotten luck Plymouth losing Gilkes with a suspected broken arm. He has been excellent this season and I for one wish him a speedy recovery. Plymouth will certainly miss him on Tuesday and he will be irreplaceable. Get well soon.3 points

He's well beyond stupid.... Every post he makes is designed to damage the credability of Scunthorpe Speedway.3 points

Looks fantastic here in Gorican. Some pics from the stadium today: https://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/2214/fotoreportage-voorbereidingen-speedway-gp-in-gorican3 points

Correct. What's in King's Lynn's favour over Belle Vue is that Kildemand is refusing (changed his mind) to come to King's Lynn. This will allow them another facility / 28 replacement. With Belle Vue if Jake Allen refuses to return to Belle Vue because they want Zagar, Allen will also get the 28 day ban for his Championship team. Allen won't accept that.3 points

Alex Brady says all 4 lynn cup matches went to last heat deciders If only Ipswich had known that was the case at the AFA Monday when being 53-31 behind at ht153 points

The regulations governing the sport are laid down by the governing authorities. Whether clubs are adhering to them or not is also down to the governing authorities, not us the supporters. If Belle Vue's signing of Matej Zagar is ratified, it is obviously within the way the governing authorities intended the regulation to work. If not ratified, then it isn't. As supporters it seems we're divided and debating on whether our own interpretation of the regulation is correct. As suppprters, perhaps our 'displeasure' ought to be aimed at the authorities for having regulations that, from the outside looking in, are seemingly open to different interpretations - rather than against an individual club in this case Belle Vue?3 points

i do agree riders should be spread out more evenly .i dont like the idea of going to poole each week with a big home win .not the speedway i want to see .lots of poole supporters love it not me though just my opinion of course3 points

Absolutely perfect close a track just because the club wants to put out a stronger side - just about sums British speedway logic up3 points

Watching the Polish league. Meant to be the best in the world but seems to me to be a far cry from where it was ten years ago. Where are the superstars? Most of the top guys are aged stars who have been around for what seems forever. Swedes? Nothing. Danes? Very little. Aussies? Nothing. Not sold on Lidsey. Both Fricke and Kurtz failed. Continental riders? Just oldies past their prime. Poles have Zmarzlik and Janowski and a few youngsters coming through, and so they should. Perhaps GB is not so far in a bad place compared to others with Bewley and Lambert. But it seems the top Polish league is getting cluttered with old Poles like KK, Walasek, Kolodziej, Gapinski. Etc who do a job but don’t set the sport alight. When top riders get to a certain high standard, they are currently able to maintain their position in the sport with fitness training, diet and because they are in the top bracket, continue to score and therefore pickup the best sponsorship and have the best equipment. It stifles youngsters and the sport gets bogged down with oldies.2 points

You really are some kind of special stupid, your hatred of Godfrey won't cloud an inaccurate statement eh. There is medical cover at Scunthorpe but like all tracks they have to wait for a county ambulance, stabilise the patient etc... So Gilkes was put in the Scunthorpe ambulance with medical cover until he could be transferred, whilst waiting for the transfer there is no other medical cover and the racing has to wait.2 points

Personally I think we beat Belle Vue easily,, even with our normal 1 to 7,,,,Fricke is pony at Foxhall,,, Zagar will be worse than pony,,, and ya never know with Kurtz,,, normally pony but last time was okay,,, Wright is also another one,, has done okay on occasions,,, but not always,,,, but obviously their top 2 being really pony will see us win. The crowd are gonna love it,, the management will then be giving it the big one,, then the home meeting after that we will lose as they are less pony at Foxhall2 points

So, does that mean that Richie will have to lower his average if he wants the extra Sunday job?2 points

Any updates on how people can watch in countries where speedway doesn’t have a tv deal? I’m hoping it will be on YouTube but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not, to really drive people to the discovery app.2 points

Why stop any club from strengthening there side ? Why in speedway does it seem weak is better ?obviously clubs shouldn’t be allowed to strengthen during the play offs but at this early stage of the season i can’t see the problem All clubs had the same opportunity to sign Zagar id have thought and same opportunities to try to bring other riders back to the uk but no yet again weaken the product is the way forward . Only in speedway2 points

Show us where it says League CUP, it clearly says League fixtures. No rules were broken, get over it and move on.2 points

Put it this way. This current Belle Vue team with Jake Allen wouldn't make top 4. Belle Vue illegally add Matej Zagar, this will push King's Lynn outside the Play-Off's. Is that right & fair?? Belle Vue should rightful continue until the 25% is completed with Jake Allen. Belle Vue could well still make top 4 from that point but then at least it's done in the correct way. Surely 5 league fixtures with Jake Allen isn't that much pain for Belle Vue? Then they can have a 15 meeting charge & prove themselves with Zagar2 points

Was absolutely gutted when it was announced Sheffield could,t fit him in,should have moved heaven and earth to keep him,if only for the entertainment value alone,if he keeps injury free he,s going to be a world class rider,Lynn are very lucky to have him....would watch him anywhere.2 points

No Monarch outscored their respective Tiger tonight. The score flattered the home side. Masters wasn’t strong enough tonight - 1 win from 6 rides. Ulle was on much better form today - only beaten by Castagna in heat 12. Connor much better than last time - as many points as his last 5 visits. Just need a Broc to find something. Track was definitely better. Nice to see Sarjeant getting some results too.1 point

Ha, now you know what it's like when this was aimed at Poole year after year! Annoying isn't it?!1 point

Plenty of season left for them to all manipulate them back down. Would obviously be a benefit to the sport if they all stayed high and forced a spread of the better riders across the league BUT that won't happen and all will be available again next year around the 8 point mark1 point

Klindt is 7.43 - the Green Sheet as used by Ipswich when he was originally named in the team last season: https://britishspeedway.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/p21_issue_1.pdf1 point

Yep,, I don't see any changes either unfortunately. Apart from the crowd dropping. Anyway,, on a different note,,, I was well impressed with Thomas,, but was expecting so much more from Pickering after what's been said about him.1 point

As said before. Good win for the Stars. Josh and Richard below par tonight. Richard hasn't really got going yet. but i'm confident he will. The reserves won it for us. Great to see Jack scoring well. Heeps seems a problem for Ippo, on the plus side for them Riss and Batch are doing better than there starting average. I know it the cup and don't count to aves. But a 5.08 Riss has averaged 6.93 in the cup matches. And a 5.67 Batch ..... 6.62, 2 riders doing ok at the mo.1 point

But that’s not his job though is it? He’s giving an interview for a meeting preview that’s going up on the official website, it’s literally part of his job to put a positive spin on a poor situation. Surely nobody expects him to do anything else.1 point

Haha nothing is simple in speedway, to be fair though we could bring someone in on a much lower average than BWD has and they'd probably still score the same if not more.1 point

See below It's clear as day to me that this clearly means as it says. The League Cup matches precede Premiership matches so the rule stats changes can't happen until after 25% of league matches. At no point does it say Premiership only. Belle Vue signing Zagar is illegal. Also, regardless whether Belle Vue offers a 28 day contract to a rider it to doesn't stand up within the rules. The contract issued by Belle Vue ISN'T a facility as Jake Allen didn't cover a previously declared rider. He becomes an officially declard rider. Zagar could be signed as a new 28 day facility but only if there's a genuine reason for Jake Allen to be missing, to which there isn't. No matter how you look at it, unless you're totally bias this deal with Zagar shouldn't be ratified according to the rules. This is British Speedway though so anything goes1 point

Great performance from Gilks last night saved Oxford from certain defeat. Personally think Plymouth can use r/r if PT back as Gilks and Bowtell showing good form at home.1 point
