In all fairness not really interested in the bickering another young rider hurt doing what he loves for our enjoyment. Not sure many who were there and seen the crash are been critical that meeting was called off i for one ain't bothered more concerned Joe is ok.6 points

Quite agree; we shouldn't stream anything. Why would people want to watch it? Shouldn't be televised either. Come to think of it, shouldn't have spectators; do it behind closed doors. There, solves everything...3 points

Nothing quite like a bit of casual racism eh? You'll find we voted to remain in UK too actually..might want to read up on your facts3 points

You are referring to the main gp, Tom will likely get the wild card for the SGP 2 on the Sunday3 points

What the speedway regulations don’t say is irrelevant. The regulations says A Premiership Transfer Window opens after 25% of the League fixtures are complete and closes when 75% of League fixtures are complete. This permits changes to the team on 2 occasions, except for proven long term injury. Now considering no Premiership team is likely to complete 25% of its league fixtures until early June it’s clear both changes do not comply with the above rule.3 points

Based on the quality, BSN should have been giving it a miss and promoting EMTV!2 points

1st Semi-Final has pretty much summed up this meeting tbh.2 points

I can't tell whether this is sarcasm or not?! Speedway should be doing much much more streaming, you'd have to be on another planet to think otherwise.2 points

Good rider tbh. Been banging in the points for Bydgoszcz.2 points

Have to say the girl rider looks more butch than some of the boys.2 points

Celina could get a heat win if this carries on like this.2 points

That is the bottom line. Can't really understand the moaning. Brennan had his chance and failed to finish in the top 5 in his round. So might have tsruggled to finish in the top 8 here...Generally there are 3 or 4 riders in with a chance of winning and the rest are there to make up the numbers.....2 points

Most of these would be used to the dry and slick Polish tracks where its all about speed. Give them a track where they have to think and throttle control needed and its a different story. Saying that, that seems to be speedway in general now2 points

I think its disgusting the establishment didn't give Tommy B a pick for the series, but thats what it is. I hope he get the pick at Cardiff to show them what he could have done. Watching this on D+2 points

In your critique of the Tigers' performance you completely omitted to mention the performance of Cook. This was by far and away his best performance in blue and yellow and his 8 +3 after 4 heats made him top scorer. He was fully deserving of his extra ride in heat 15. He seems to actually be enjoying his stint at Sheffield and even acknowledged the crowd's cheers on the 4th bend after his win in heat 8. Top points for sheer guts go - as usual - to Kyle. I reckon he's the best captain in the league. He may lack the finesse of a Holder and the panache of a Musielak, but for 150% commitment to the team cause he can't be faulted. He's the engine room of the team and Damien should give him a contract for life.2 points

Yes, she can ride a bike, and I even think she will score a point or two tonight, but she is not really good enough to be in this SGP 2 series, considering others like Tom Brennan, Hellstrom-Bangs etc. do not get the chance. Even over here in Germany, no one really understands why she got the wildcard ahead of a much faster Norick Blodorn. It is only because she is a girl.2 points

For all of you who think Celina Liebmann has been plucked from the crowd to ride- she scored 6 points in the Daugavpils qualifier and has ridden Polish league div 2. Yes she will be highly tried but she can ride a bike !!2 points

The problem is that you can both be right, as the rule about the Transfer Window does not have a start date. Does it apply: 1. From the point that a team announces its 1-7 which could be months ahead of the start of the season. 2. From the point of the first actual speedway meeting of the season involving two of the six Premiership teams. 3. From the point that an individual team rode its first meeting. 4. From the point of the first league meeting involving two of the six Premiership teams. 5. From the point that an individual team rode its first league meeting. and then when do the 25% and 75% stipulations get triggered: 1. When an individual team meets these milestones. 2. When the last of the six teams reaches the respective milestone. As far as I can see the answers to the above can only be by each individual’s interpretation.2 points

Pre-season I would have said Jenkins had promise & isn't a bad number 8, but so far this season averaging 2.57 (3.43) for Redcar, so an odd choice for me!2 points

I too have subscribed to both Backtrack and Classic Speedway Magazines. I am so sad that Tony and Susie feel unable to carry on with what, in my opinion, is a really good and professional Magazine. I loved all of the articles, as a 1970s Speedway enthusiast I think they are impossible to beat. I get a number of none Speedway related magazines but the two Speedway periodicals are the ones I look forward to the most. The '70s were a special time for me and Speedway and I love revelling in the memories evoked by both of these publications. I will miss my 'phonecalls to Backtrack, and talking to Susie when I renew my subscription. It was like talking to a family member. I would like to thank both Tony and Susie for all of their very hard work in producing these two wonderful magazines. I will miss them very, very much should they have to close down. Tony, Susie, I wish you every success in the future, you have kept me happy with my memories. I don't think I can give you higher praise than that. THANK YOU SO MUCH.2 points

Birmingham repeated. Bad for the sport when a second ambulance is £250. Poole next week. Too far to go to watch a few heats. Will Scunthorpe sort out the mess or will it be repeated?1 point

Why wouldn't they just share the EMTV feed? Seems mad.1 point

So the 5 from Gislaved aren't the top 5 here. Can only conclude that Brennan would be well out of the top 81 point

Speedway should not be messing about with streaming - be it individual clubs or the sport in general. It's a stupid idea1 point

Celina's tactics in Heat 10 don't bother sliding, Just poodle round and hope Knudsen falls off. Waste of a wildcard just to get a box ticked. Sorry but it has to be said when this is supposed to be a professional sport.1 point

Not sure about that. Grahn and Henriksson are among the weaker riders but they cope with the Swedish Elitserien. And Salonen won his first ride. So who is out of their depth (apart from Celina)? I do think Brennan and Hellstrom-Bangs would have been better wildcard picks than Grahn though.1 point

he'll definitely be WC at Cardiff, but should be in the full series1 point

Now live at the track where the sun has come out briefly. Track looks OK considering the rain, just one bloke putting the broom round the inside now. Yes shame no Brits but will be interesting to see the standard of the others. Further news: Just been announced intros at 19.30, first heat 19.40. Quite a bit of blue sky now so more optimistic than at 15.00. At least the music is good, usually is at Prague.1 point

Either way, the Regulations have been cobbled together, and the new "window" Regulation is unnecessarily vague, unhelpful, and - to be frank - totally useless. I'm happy to keep stretching it, if only to keep winding you up, seeing as it seems to mean so much to you.1 point

The push for speedway at Odsal was coming from the stock car promoter, Steve Rees, who was actively looking for someone to take it on. But Steve has now sold up to Yorstox. They also run stock cars at Sheffield so maybe they’d look at speedway at Odsal? I know a few had a look last year, including as a possible GP venue, but no one took it up probably due to the high cost of reshaping the track so it was suitable for speedway.1 point

It's going to be tough without a guest for CV....but it might just gel the rest of the guys and up their team spirit and all that. I think the lads can score what CV would've scored had he rode! All we can ask is that they give it their all.... Hope CV feels better asap!1 point

Unfortunately you assume wrong and to avoid any confusion: Payment is by cash or online ticket only. Providing reliable and secure wi-fi to the outlying areas of the stadium is an on-going challenge.1 point

Why is it I wonder when clubs are having a tough time (and I don't mean just Birmingham)& fans are getting more upset about what's happening, that people like you spring up spouting all the aggression? I never realised that anyone needed to put money into the sport to become an expert either. You might be close to the internal proceedings at the Brummies but you are no "expert " on public relations from what I have seen of your posts on this forum.1 point

That`s because we only saw the star riders maybe once or twice a season at our home track, so each team had a big individual - ie the Manpower at Reading.1 point
