I often have a bit of a moan when the track doesn't produce much,,,, but I also give credit,,, and the track staff deserve a pat on the back for what they have produced the last couple of meetings,,,, the racing has been so much better,, and passes galore because of it.. Well done7 points

Oops, I seem to have woken all the trolls up when posting a couple of races. Sorry about that! I just thought that any Scunthorpe fans that didn't watch the stream would want to see a couple of races from the meeting.5 points

Didn't think you can re-declare a rider into a side once they have been taken out? Only loophole i can see is if Wight was a 28 day injury replacement for Tero and then Tero returns and Wright is signed for Palin? That said in the best interests the Godfather can do as he likes.4 points

If you were in the habit of reading the Polish websites, then you'd be able to see clearly that they are just desperate for clickbait articles to pull in readers. As an example, Sportowefakty reported yesterday what you were no doubt quoting, yet today, only 24 hours later, they have posted new "evidence" suggesting that apart from Zmarzlik, the rest of Gorzów's seniors are now very likely to remain. This is typical tabloid nonsense. Why not wait until there is definite news before making a fool of yourself?4 points

Please do not post speculation as fact keep that to twitter is in everyone`s interest.4 points

The same Lawson that won that titanic battle in heat 15 against Plymouth also with a broken steel shoe4 points

Hope they've booked a medic or 2, hope the weather forecast is good, hope the electricity board aren't digging any holes in the area... etc. etc. I shall take this one on BSN, given enough of my cash to that clown this season4 points

Well, like I said, if you were in the habit of reading Sportowefakty regularly (maybe you are, maybe you're not) then you'd have known long ago that it's the equivalent of the Daily Mail. In other words to be taken with an absolute pinch of salt. And for what it's worth, R&R's coverage and posts throughout the International section are unrivalled anywhere. Outstanding service provided for us all here.3 points

I expect nothing more from a troll like yourself- i suppose the school holiday`s have started and you have time on your hands.3 points

Oh dear Anti Scunthorpe yet again please change the record3 points

I appreciate all that you have said. I do not doubt his commitment and effort, I personally feel that he has reached his level, in terms of ability. I could be totally wrong and I really hope he proves it.3 points

Where is Trackrat? Why isn't he on this thread complaining this meeting should be cancelled with Scunthorpe fielding such a weak team again!!2 points

This site here is the least sensationalist and most reliable one, and you'll be able to use Google translate quite easily on it: https://po-bandzie.com.pl/zuzel/aktualnosci/ Regarding the traffic to the International section of the forum, looking purely at this thread, we have almost 60,000 views alone, which suggests to me it gets a whole lot of traffic! I come on only occasionally but from what I have seen, there appears to be a mixture of some who are highly knowledgeable about Polish speedway and speedway internationally generally, such as R&R, and others who'd like to imagine they know lots but actually don't! For me personally, I run a speedway FB group that deals exclusively with European speedway and I can tell you this with absolute certainty. R&R is the most valuable resource and poster I've come across anywhere on the net, including in Poland!2 points

i think the year he was called up to the world cup and was absolutely brilliant for the team showed a lot of people how good he could be2 points

Offside? It's not football Someone explain the rules to him, not sure I have the patience tbh!2 points

There we have it - a perfect example of a troll. Why didn`t you put on your original post " Rumoured"- i will tell you why - because you must have been brought up in a village and you are in fact the village *****.2 points

If he did, atat least we wouldn't have to put up with your drbble!!2 points

I had a chat with Richard Lawson before the meeting. I mentioned the Palm Toft incident and he said he never touched him and the throttle goes both ways. Lawson said he made a similar undercut move on Chris Harris in heat 15 against Berwick and Harris came off the throttle, and cut back underneath. They shook hands after the race. With Palm Toft his girlfriend completely lost it and tried to attack Lawson.2 points

Got to say I was pretty impressed with some of the riders last night. Leon Flint was always an obvious winner, but the standard was better than I was expecting. The main thing that caught my eye is just how good some of these kids are at such a young age. Five of them are only 15 I think (Max Perry, Max James, Luke Harrison, Jody Scott, Ace Pijper?), and a couple only one year older. Maybe the future isn't quite so bleak.2 points

Awesome Doyley, good team performance and good choice of guest in Tom Brennan, he's a great lad and his future is looking good.2 points

It is boring when it is all you can come up with and you know the problem doesn't exist anymore. No trophy is pointless, it is an achievement. Ask a Scunthorpe fan if they would like to be in a play off final.2 points

Hope that the air fence is properly anchored down. Will be coming to watch speedway, not some poor sole hitting the armco or a medic helicopter.2 points

agree, effort doesn't necessarily mean a good track - was just pointing out to Rob that like for like with Oxford isn't a fair comparison due to track time, machinery, landlord etc!2 points

Good enjoyable meeting to watch as a neutral. Thought Lions would steam roller Scunny but they were very poor and lost it. Some good battles.1 point

Sadly No surprise with the athlete's village not being finished in time from the lack of construction I noticed a few months back. Guess they'll use the buildings when completed for asylum seekers? Thanks for the information1 point

Yes crazy but what a night that was, nearly as mental as the poles that climbed the stanction at the world cup final.1 point

I am sorry but it’s time for Max Clegg & Joe Thompson to go. With them in the side we have zero chance of winning anything.1 point

Its a mandatory 7 days suspension whatever the illness. I think it was brought in to prevent riders throwing a sickie when due to visit a track they didnt like! Regulation is:- 010.5(H) sick or carrying a non-speedway injury, the rider must immediately inform the SCB and their club. A Medical Certificate must be supplied to the SCB within 48 hours of the sickness/injury occurring in which case the rider will receive a mandatory 7 days suspension of his SCB Registration from the day of the first meeting missed1 point

nice to see the gating tart Lawson making a pass without maiming someone, shame it needed a broken steel shoe for James Wright though, lovely inside move from Edwards to fly past Cook, that must have bought the house down.1 point

I think Jack Holder must be suffering from heat stroke, he turns up at Ipswich and gives us the bonus of seeing him in heat 151 point
