Reading on the press release he's bought a lot of the Sarj's gear. Wonder if he'll be able to prevent them going through the tapes4 points

Signing announcement on Tuesday. They might as well just do it in the morning as it’s the worst kept secret in speedway2 points
-
How did you take this in a negative light? While it does state the PZM 'can' block any rider on one of its licences, it pretty much says they wont. In fact it's got a quote from Piotr Szymanski, the GKSZ chairman, saying "As long as the regulations of individual countries allow these players to drive in other league competitions, we will also agree to this...I have nothing against them performing in Great Britain..."2 points
-
Seems a little bit of envy on here, great work by Ipswich to create such interest and excitement for British speedway2 points
-
Daft rule. Could end waiting longer. Movement at the start one minute goes on. Rider misses the one minute. Fresh 2 minutes go on for a replacement. Just do what all other leagues do in the world 2 minute clock and if you’re not at the tapes by then you’re out. Don’t know why we love to complicate things in Britain.2 points
-
It is a lovely venue. A few years I cycled my bike around the track on Boxing Day just to say I'd 'ridden' it. You could just walk in - no-one was there.2 points

Complete bull,I thought I would check my facts just rang Plymouth’s promoter and Zach Cook is 100% a Plymouth asset.1 point

Think you'll find ZC is also now a Poole asset as he couldn’t ride for Plymouth any more due to the Tuesday Polish U.24 league. All part of facilitating the Kelleher and Andersen arrangements to ride for Plymouth last season!1 point

Affected Plymouth in a way as if we had Nathan then they would have had Roynon? Nathan not too bad at Plymouth, maybe should have gone for him.1 point

Although it's good to see Dan riding in the Premiership as a rising star, surely he is, without question, Championship material. The mad maths that has him riding in division 1 and 3 but not 2 is a bit bonkers.1 point
-
Only 3 , but determined to develop the young 2 pointers rather than shelving them . probably would have been 4 assets but they let Pooley keep Zack cook1 point

Need to ask Danny ford about that one. Leaving their own asset on the bench . Poor imo.1 point

Cheated, or acted within the supposed rules just like the Aces did with Lambert. That’s a rule that was denied until they appealed. They are all nonsense rules anyway.1 point

Glad you’re so happy with your teams choices and actions, have you ever stopped to think the timing of the announcement was carefully planned for the anniversary of the invasion for maximum media exposure? I’m also happy, safe in the knowledge that CVS would never stoop so low.1 point

PUK-ING BRILLIANT!! We are delighted to announce that the final piece into the jigsaw for the Stuart Robson Farewell Meeting is multiple Grand Prix winner, and multiple Danish Champion NIELS KRISTIAN IVERSEN Niels who is affectionately known as Puk is back in the UK for 2023 to lead the Peterborough Panthers and this morning confirmed that he would be able to join us. “Niels actually rode in a meeting held for me at Rye House a few years ago and one of my overriding memories was the cracking night we had in the bar afterwards!” Said Robbo “He has been a top top rider for a very long time and it’s great for British Speedway that riders like Niels are back racing regularly and it will also give the Redcar public a chance to see another quality rider on the day. Only 3 weeks to go now, and we are getting back to the excitement stage!.” Robbo's Farewell1 point

Here's an even crazier idea... how about reassembling the teams that qualified for the competition and running it as their first matches of the season and getting the bloody thing out of the way, that way the fans that traveled the country following their team last season under the crazy notion that if their team qualified for a final they would actually get to see it. As it stands at Leicester we qualified for the play off final and the Jubilee Trophy final and have seen neither!1 point

It's a 4 point rider... can't see what any excitement or concern this/that would cause . Morris on a 10 is the damage and fault for the season IMO1 point

If you would kindly mention which riders you mean then I will deduct them from my list1 point

Or just put the two minutes on as soon as the race is stopped. The hold up isn't the two minute warning, it's not putting the two minute warning on quick enough. So not putting the shiny new one minute warning on quick enough will still mean there is some hanging about. If there was actually two minutes between a stoppage and a restart, it wouldn't be a problem in the first place.1 point

They are lying. I follow all of the riders on Twitter and I remember Emil posting a handshake image where one hand was painted in a Russian flag and the other hand in a Ukrainian flag with the caption about peace no war.1 point

Just to correct the last paragraph - I was in the Peter Craven Suite last night for the amazing celebration of Steve Casey’s life so checked. At the top of the stairs, outside the suite, in gold letters, it says “Peter Craven Suite”. Below that, there is a photograph of the “Wizard of balance” himself. So yes there is a mention and yes there is a photo1 point

Ipswich The other 6 also rans Only kidding , I actually think it's a very tight and competitive league. Extra strength all over and much more worthy of being a 'top' division than has been seen for some time1 point

'I don't know what the English wanted to prove. Probably their own stupidity and ignorance. Or maybe they wanted to "celebrate" the anniversary of Russia's attack on Ukraine in this way? It's outrageous. They don't have an ounce of decency - said the former Polish international, Jan Krzystyniak. Sayfutdinov is not a Pole and I will repeat it all the time. He was, is and will be a Russian for me and no passport will change that. The mere fact of allowing him to compete is outrageous, because as long as the war lasts, Russian athletes should be excluded from all competitions. And what the English have done is the height of rudeness. After all, they could have announced this contract a few days earlier, or a few days later, if only out of respect for all the victims of this war. For me, they are either ignorant people who do not know what is happening in Europe, or egoists who do not care about human suffering and do not look further than the tip of their own noses, concluded Krzystyniak. All of the news coming from this venture is fabulous for the sport, the custodians of the sport need to recognise this and propel Workington as an example and maintain a position that encourages investment in the sport. To mire this club with the usual political self serving bollox will deter anyone from investing in this sport forever. BSPL this is your opportunity to nurture and promote investment in the sport, burn it and you have fukt Speedway forever1 point

He was the most talented/ best rider on show that night.. Ex World Champ. All the Poole team rode it. Be honest, he was sitting on the wrong side of the pits, and spat his dummy out when he got the chance. He didn't want to be there, and would of rode the same track that night if he was in the Poole team. What he should of done is show Poole they were wrong to dump him over his average and do the best he could to repay Buster's faith in him and giving him a job.1 point

There must be some way of making sure that Kemp, Rowe and Thompson have Championship spots if they want them before handing out work permits for similar standard non Brits.1 point

Lowering the Average’s is doing no favours to British Speedway, regarding bringing on British youngsters. At least 3 or 4 are missing out this season because of it IMO.1 point
