Reading on the press release he's bought a lot of the Sarj's gear. Wonder if he'll be able to prevent them going through the tapes4 points

Signing announcement on Tuesday. They might as well just do it in the morning as it’s the worst kept secret in speedway2 points
-
How did you take this in a negative light? While it does state the PZM 'can' block any rider on one of its licences, it pretty much says they wont. In fact it's got a quote from Piotr Szymanski, the GKSZ chairman, saying "As long as the regulations of individual countries allow these players to drive in other league competitions, we will also agree to this...I have nothing against them performing in Great Britain..."2 points
-
Seems a little bit of envy on here, great work by Ipswich to create such interest and excitement for British speedway2 points
-
Daft rule. Could end waiting longer. Movement at the start one minute goes on. Rider misses the one minute. Fresh 2 minutes go on for a replacement. Just do what all other leagues do in the world 2 minute clock and if you’re not at the tapes by then you’re out. Don’t know why we love to complicate things in Britain.2 points
-
It is a lovely venue. A few years I cycled my bike around the track on Boxing Day just to say I'd 'ridden' it. You could just walk in - no-one was there.2 points

Complete bull,I thought I would check my facts just rang Plymouth’s promoter and Zach Cook is 100% a Plymouth asset.1 point
-
Affected Plymouth in a way as if we had Nathan then they would have had Roynon? Nathan not too bad at Plymouth, maybe should have gone for him.1 point

I’m sure Ben will talk Nicki through his experience of getting fenced by Jason last summer down the back straight1 point

Only 3 , but determined to develop the young 2 pointers rather than shelving them . probably would have been 4 assets but they let Pooley keep Zack cook1 point

Beat me to it. It’s not in Poland’s best interest to block it either. The bloke has been out of action for a year and hasn’t got GP fixtures or any other fixture in another league. They’ll want him sharp for the Polish season.1 point
-
He was in the 1-7 until the team-building points limit was reduced to 40 from the previously agreed 42 points!! Danny is still using 4 of his own assets! How many Plymouth assets are in the Gladiators 1-7?1 point

It's good to see that the collective promotional forces of Leicester, Poole and British Speedway are in full motion1 point
-
There is better home grown prospects but they've got too high an average. Really need a higher reduction for young British talent to stop them being forced out of the Championship. In Plymouth's case those promising young riders wouldn't have been an option, even with a greater average reduction, as they have signed up for the Polish under 24 league.1 point

PUK-ING BRILLIANT!! We are delighted to announce that the final piece into the jigsaw for the Stuart Robson Farewell Meeting is multiple Grand Prix winner, and multiple Danish Champion NIELS KRISTIAN IVERSEN Niels who is affectionately known as Puk is back in the UK for 2023 to lead the Peterborough Panthers and this morning confirmed that he would be able to join us. “Niels actually rode in a meeting held for me at Rye House a few years ago and one of my overriding memories was the cracking night we had in the bar afterwards!” Said Robbo “He has been a top top rider for a very long time and it’s great for British Speedway that riders like Niels are back racing regularly and it will also give the Redcar public a chance to see another quality rider on the day. Only 3 weeks to go now, and we are getting back to the excitement stage!.” Robbo's Farewell1 point

Here's an even crazier idea... how about reassembling the teams that qualified for the competition and running it as their first matches of the season and getting the bloody thing out of the way, that way the fans that traveled the country following their team last season under the crazy notion that if their team qualified for a final they would actually get to see it. As it stands at Leicester we qualified for the play off final and the Jubilee Trophy final and have seen neither!1 point

OK, well agree to disagree otherwise we'll go round in circles that my sanity can't cope with. But hopefully going forward season ending injuries will continue to be allowed new signings to cover them.1 point
-
It's a 4 point rider... can't see what any excitement or concern this/that would cause . Morris on a 10 is the damage and fault for the season IMO1 point

They are lying. I follow all of the riders on Twitter and I remember Emil posting a handshake image where one hand was painted in a Russian flag and the other hand in a Ukrainian flag with the caption about peace no war.1 point

This recently taken picture illustrates how breathtakingly beautiful that historic speedway venue still is. Since 2003 the Brisbane Exhibition Grounds is a registrated Queensland heritage site.1 point

No chance of getting a visa. None. Russia is at war with Ukraine. Russia is destroying a beautiful country. People are dying. What sort of message is Speedway giving out here?1 point

All of the news coming from this venture is fabulous for the sport, the custodians of the sport need to recognise this and propel Workington as an example and maintain a position that encourages investment in the sport. To mire this club with the usual political self serving bollox will deter anyone from investing in this sport forever. BSPL this is your opportunity to nurture and promote investment in the sport, burn it and you have fukt Speedway forever1 point

He was the most talented/ best rider on show that night.. Ex World Champ. All the Poole team rode it. Be honest, he was sitting on the wrong side of the pits, and spat his dummy out when he got the chance. He didn't want to be there, and would of rode the same track that night if he was in the Poole team. What he should of done is show Poole they were wrong to dump him over his average and do the best he could to repay Buster's faith in him and giving him a job.1 point
-
Dale Allit. He was taken i'll at the interval and taken to hospital. Holder probably looked over to his Poole buddies on the other side of the pits and threw a wobbly. He would of rode if he was on Pooles side that night.1 point

There must be some way of making sure that Kemp, Rowe and Thompson have Championship spots if they want them before handing out work permits for similar standard non Brits.1 point
