Maybe to help out his mate Buster who was left without a no 1. Once he had ridden for the club guests could then be used when he "gave up". On arriving at the Purplecats, he maybe realised all was not well so the crash on a poorly prepared track then gave Nicki / Buster the ideal opportunity needed to leave, all be it quicker than 1st planned. MT silence on the matter speaks volumes imo....4 points

I also think the BSN have done a good job reporting on it and making abit of a story about that. You get nothing of the sorts from the BSPL site and the speedway star.3 points

Ice Hockey thrives on such incidents... In the US they became very focused on losing that image until they got a fan backlash, with the fans wanting such fights to happen, as it added to the spectacle and the intensity of the rivalries.. Speedway clubs willingly share riders with each other virtually every night so making the sport one that generates passionate rivalry will naturally be difficult to achieve, therefore a bit of personal rivalry can add to it..3 points

Oh you are very welcome (said she sarcastically) Thanks for ignoring my reply telling you I could not do so and suggesting you contact Phil3 points

I’d have him in the team over a journeyman like cook any day of the week2 points

No one in double figures for the Aces.. A very solid team effort... Rowe will have the beating of most No7's, so worth a permanent spot I would say.. Mulford can then develop via the Championship and NDL..2 points

That's got BV's season going then. Good performances all down the order. Special shout out to Anders Rowe who looks a decent addition in the RS position - can he replace Mulford permanenty?2 points

Don't mind any option to keep Panthers going, but I'm not prepared to line Busters pockets if we are finished after this season, & a lot more fans will probably feel the same.2 points

I didn't have one in those days and rode everywhere. Bradford and back in a day was the longest journey to speedway for me, 4 hours each way. Always been a biker but got a car when I got a wife2 points

Considering so many teams promoters were not impressed when Plymouth did it last season, I am surprised they haven't changed the ruling on it.2 points

Weather the home team covers the cost of all riders !! Who covers the cost of the away support.. fans out of pocket again & we wonder why our beloved sport is on the downward spiral in the UK .. but thats the great British weather tho2 points

How can his private life be nothing to do with us when he is parading his family life in a reality tv show?2 points

Buster and Peterborough are the victims in this case. I actually feel sorry for Buster and the fans on this one. I must of took a fair bit of work to get him over, and for fook all2 points

I wasn’t. Didn’t buy in to the nonsense pre meeting. The way Ipswich are built you can’t miss a solid middle order rider when you have a tail like Ipswich have. R/R is a tall order. I still thought we might win the meeting mind you but it wasn’t to be. Despite early season wobbles Belle Vue are a good side which everyone said they were. They’ll have riders that will improve even more than they showed tonight. Play off certainties.1 point

Worrall did all that he could in that first home meeting considering he faced Doyle and Emil in 2 of his rides, i made that point at the time. Glad he had a good night tonight1 point

The engine problems probably lost Panthers the meeting tonight, but without a No.1 (only 4 from RR rides), that's not a bad result so fair play to the lads.1 point

Ben’s a bit mental, but I don’t think he’s mad enough to put himself in a metal fence on purpose. The poly fence is a different story…1 point

This meeting, if it goes ahead, should only comprise the riders who rode for their teams last year, where possible.1 point

Responded to a fan's concern (on a specific, not organisational question) via e-mail yesterday so no he hasn't gone. My understanding is that he was unfortunately on leave and it all went a bit pear shaped with him being out of the country.1 point

Yes you can pay on card at the ticket office and their isnt a surcharge. You just pay face value. I have just checked this with Jen the General Manager.1 point

Unless the speedway riders start using the greyhound starting traps, I can’t see the problem.1 point

No disrespect to Kings Lynn but I wouldn’t go over there to watch Peterborough Panthers, just wouldn’t feel right1 point

Whilst I agree with the Mental Health issues Craig has and it certainly can’t be easy for him, and as we know can lead to deep depression. But there has to come a point that we have to stop using the issue as a defence . I don’t think anyone would have questioned the crash on Sunday other than a racing incident albeit Bens reaction in the aftermath suggested he thought there was more to it than a racing incident. His tweet confirms that he knew exactly what he was doing Mental Health Issues or not in no way can that be excused regardless.1 point

The other side of that is, was MT keen until he got dumped on with team decisions? Has he walked away?1 point

He should be at Sheffield as Mondays and Thursdays are British race nights BUT in this crazy make it up as you go along world of speedway anything could be happening.1 point

Well said, unfortunately people don't understand mental health issues, I don't condone what Craig said but as a mental health nurse, I am aware that things can be said and done that people don't have the same control over. Mental health issues are very complex, there is often increased anger and frustration which people find difficult to deal with.1 point
