  2. Great call... A "decent rider" from what I have read of her scores and performances, but, far more importantly, what a story to tell... Plenty of column inches locally I would suggest in the local media and maybe even local TV interest.... Outstanding work from the Comets leadership team...

  6. I think Birmingham made a mistake not signing him, he’d be on a 3.53, is a fan fav there and rides Perry Barr like a championship heat leader so would be good for 5 or 6 at home most weeks alongside 3 or 4 away at most tracks I’d say

  7. And you’ve got the 3rd best rider from little old west Cumbria as number 1

  8. Assessed riders can drop below their averages, Vuolas & Zischke could drop from 5 to 4 (I don't think they will). Workington could have replace both H.McGurk & Crang, but we're loyal to them when they had high averages, then once their aves had dropped wasn't worth replacing them anymore.

  9. Crash helmet on here. Great bit of publicity but don’t think she’ll even average her assessed average. Only average over a point a meeting in the polish U24 league.

  10. We will wait and see which cook turns up, I think this year we will see the British champion ex GP rider Craig cook turn up and in the diluted league he will be one of the top riders, looking forward to the comets southern tour to beat the pirates at home UTC

  15. Workington managed to find a highly rated 4.00 assessed rider whilst Poole couldn't lol. How times have changed.

  16. Another great signing, a big Comets welcome to Celina, the team is really taking shape nicely with 13.48 to go for the remaining 2 riders I think this team will look very solid with every rider capable of increasing their average. Exciting season ahead for the Comets

  18. Parking isn't the responsibility of the club. Most sporting venues have some Parking which is usually limited, (perry barr is no different ) however once that is full, its up to you, the car driver to park your car. Ring a major football club and ask, where to park, and they may wet themselves laughing at you. At least some speedway clubs try to make an effort.

  20. The people who are going to pay money to go and watch? It's a fine balance between development and not losing a shed load of money...

  23. Give the Dane a chance, all this criticism will hardly give him confidence!!

  24. It maybe stating the obvious but isn't this league about "development" rather than winning a title.

  27. No ones mentioned Josh auty yet. would fly round the home track. Would struggle away though

  28. I think its generally accepted that Flint will probably benefit from a fresh start away from Berwick, sometimes riders get a bit stale and need a change. Can certainly see the logic in Glasgow going with him rather than Vissing. Equally Vissing would be a good, solid signing for Worky.

  29. Vissing 6.24. Weathers 6.47. And Fredricksen 4.57. Total 37.80

  30. Hearing whispers of Jake Turner heading to a northern track, must be either Edinburgh or Berwick. Hope the rumours are true he’s a talent for the future could be a real dark horse at Edinburgh.
