As gutted as I am to see the Lions lose I think that a Witches victory is probably the best for British Speedway, first of all that size crowd doesn't deserve to be sent home unhappy and hopefully many will return. Ippo have been the team to beat for the last 3 seasons, they took the financial gamble in bringing Emil back 3 years ago to partner Doyley and we've all benefited from that, they've worked the rulebook to within an inch of its life this year (and fair play to them for that) and they've got a true local legend captaining the club which is rare to see these days (even though he comes in for a bit of stick from certain quarters) Well done Witches, well deserved and earned... our final was the semi final again (we've got to stop celebrating semi final victories like that!)... it's our turn next year

Thats your opinion and your entitled to it. Being a top class speedway rider does not give him a free pass to be untouched from criticism. He is paid to do a professional job and in my opinion he falls far short of that.

Good to see Kemp dropped from that heat. Leicester will most likely lose, but if I was a Leicester supporter, I would rather See Joe Thompson have the ride, than give that complete excuse of a speedway rider more rides. If speedway was not in such a state with shortage of riders. No one would touch Kemp with a barge pole

27 years been waiting for this,, and I'm doing something else,, how times have changed. Really hope the Witches bring it home in style, and with plenty of heats left so the long suffering fans can enjoy the rest of the racing. Let's just put this to bed once and for all. There were some complications with the birth of Rich's son Rio, which required Rich to be there, but all is now well. Congratulations to all the family. Now the ECCO beckons.......again.

That’s a bit unfair, no matter what you think about Tatum he has served his time as a class speedway rider and just for that he deserves the fruits that the sport can offer him

..and yet a once-again packed grandstand thoroughly enjoyed the racing and the result. Incidentally heat 15 amongst others proved there can be great racing with no passes at all.

To have this support tonight was so special for the lads, it felt hard work at times and deffo you could feel real pressure and nerves in the crowd and riders at times. To have to open the back stand on bend three because of the amount of people is a credit to the fans, the running and promotion of the club and the riders. I don’t know how good the meeting looked on tv, but it felt special to have so many people here tonight and the joy in the riders faces on the centre green celebrating just made the night amazing. Leicester were worthy finalists and on another night could have won it, but something just felt special about tonight, like it was meant to be our night. I hope speedway won tonight and not just Ipswich. We need to build this sport back to bring these crowds back. 2025 you’ve been special! Thanks for all teams who raced us, rivals or not, I hope everyone experiences what I felt tonight 🏆👏🏻 Until next time…

100%agree. Both Tatum and Allen think Kemp has bike troubles. He never finishes a race when he's at the back. Commentators complete pair of divs. Haven't got the bottle to say what everyone can see!!

Never want to see him ride another race for Leicester at least JT gives you 4 laps even if they are that back.

I find it unbelievable that Kemp does this in every race when he's a the back. Does he not realise speedway is over four laps? Regardless what he scores in his remaining rides. If Leicester ride next year. he should be the last person on their list. He's an absolute disgrace to the club. Dickinson should pull him out of the meeting.

So you agree that your talk about BZ's "high appearance fee" ... is nonsense. You also accuse BZ of not "being seen outside of his country promoting Speedway", Where would you like him to be seen? In Argentina? France? Which other countries, apart from Australia, have speedway tracks. Oh yes, there is also league racing in Britain, but he is already riding in two leagues. One could say there are also individual event. I would say there were. Where is Internationale, Pride of the East, etc., etc. As far as BZ's "inability to communicate with anybody outside of Poland" is concerned ,why all the Extraliga English speaking stars communicate only in English whilst they ride and earn big money on Polish tracks. If you want him to do "interview during GP on the world feed", ask then Abi Stephens to interview him in his native language and then translate (on the spot) into the language you understand. That's how it done in the Polish League.

I've seen some farcical decisions and events in the 50 years I have watched this sport BUT the inclusion of Woffinden in the GP series for next year has to be the biggest FARCE ever. Utter joke of a decision, done purely for publicity reasons and not for the good of the sport or other riders. Disgraceful decision which just makes the sport look even more tinpot than usual!!

Many of the successful World Champions tend to do their work from the gate, Nicki P was electric from the gate during his WC years, Kurtz didn't win it (by a point) this year but most of his work was done from the gate... the exception seems to be BZ who has to do a lot of his work from the back

Very impressed with Ace has had a good 2nd half of the season.has sorted out his style a bit IMO. That was a decent nights racing.

What success they have brought to Poole over the years

Congratulations to all at Ipswich speedway. It has been a long time coming and JL will be looking down with a big smile. Two great feats for Suffolk in one week.

We thought that about Craig Cook last season only to see him announced for this! Hopefully Mr Dickson has learnt his lesson.

Tai spent the last few seasons being in the wrong place, at the wrong time, too many times, to be "just unlucky"... He also became a very defensive rider when hitting the bends in close proximity to the other three.... Quite natural I would say given his injuries sustained in the past five years or so, but he is now coming back from a huge one, which would mean a monumental effort to still mix it aggressively with the rest of the GP field... Let's hope for his own sake, as well as the GP's, that he justifies the spot in the line up, as no one would want to see his incredible legacy tainted by being an "also ran" meeting after meeting...

The idea that Woffinden is some sort of mega star is hilarious. A couple of appearances on BBC news don't make you a public figure.

He will still win some races and he will still be the opportunistic rider he has always been but I can’t see him taking the big risks anymore, he has been bitten too many times now, imo there shouldn’t be be no wildcards, it’s either a serious world championship without wild cards or it’s a travelling circus with them

I wonder if SS will make the best comeback since Lazarus and venture up to Redcar! Ladbrokes give 1/3 he dont make it and 2/1 he does but wears a mask and a visor!
