  1. No, Bridger 4 pts, Cook 1 point, King 5 points . Won't see a Brit in the GP Challenge until Robert Lambert gets there
  2. So Pedersen kicks riders off their bike at 70 mph and gets a 600 euro fine?
  3. Well if its greyhounds or football, who cares, there's no speedway there is there
  4. Well I am sure your congratulations will make the whole thing worthwhile for them
  5. Well why doesn't someone from this forum approach the Ricoh arena, agree a deal to rent the stadium, approach Horton to buy the licence rights, lay the track and put the Bees in there, if its so easy. Then approach BSI to get the second GP there, come on boys, the Promoters today are so rubbish so why don't you show them how it's done.
  6. No UK riders at all!! Surely it would be a great experience for Craig Cook, Richard Lawson and Richie Worrall??
  7. Better fixture planning should eliminate more of the 'who rides where' problem you allude to, which I agree is a problem. But one way or another, we need more British lads (or lasses) in speedway, so this has to be the start.
  8. I actually think the fast track reserve initiative is a good one, the future of UK speedway is to have more British riders,,as it became reliant on the overseas riders, so the interest wained. Belle Vue have picked up their attendances markedly since we have 5 UK riders in it, the supporters have a connection with Scott Nicholls and Craig Cook that they wouldn't with Martin Vaculik as he would only ever hang around for one season, for example.
  9. Any point Germany and Latvia bring there? The commentators are ok, start girls are very nice, racing not amazing
  10. Has there ever been speedway tracks in China and Japan?
  11. No, it was a very informed statement, we in the UK aren't used to that
  12. No, it was a very informed statement, we in the UK aren't used to that
  13. But both get higher attendances than Polish GP's get (as they are bigger stadia of course). AND they get bigger attendances than the SEC gets, Gdansk and Rzszow were half full last year.
  14. You don't have to take an interest, feel free to stay in the 1950's, it's a free country
  15. Welcome to Russia! Part of the national psyche I am afraid. Interesting stuff though
  16. Well even if the Poles don't want to go, I quite fancy a trip there!
  17. My god you guys are never happy?! Sounds like a fantastic venue for a GP in Poland.
  18. I don't know what his circumstances actually are, maybe he was hoping for a sponsor who didn't cone through, maybe his deal with Torun was under threat if he participated on all those Saturdays before a GP, but as he pulled out late, rather than when Gollob did, I don't think it was because he was siding with the Europeans. You think different, good for you I would think if BSI thought Onesport were trying to get riders not to participate in the GP, they would want to take the GP away. If Onesport thought BSI were looking to screw their series, they wouldn't want to stage one. Mutual interest not to stage the GP. Apparently a load of other tracks want to stage a GP in Poland.
  19. And Torun are staging a GP, so why hasn't he pulled that as well? I am sure if BSI and Onesport hatedxeachbither as much as you speculate they do, they would have gone their separate ways.
