  1. Definitely wasn't being patronising! I was describing the level of applause the crowd gave him. Shame everyone took my post out of context! Phil The Ace has a problem with everything I say so hid isn't surprising. If I said it was sunny, he'd have a problem with that too. Edit - see that suggray and SS liked the original post so they get how I meant it!
  2. I will miss Eastbourne, away track I have visited the most. I will miss the time when Nicki P shouted in Rickardsson's face and Tony laughed at him. And also when Nicki was getting his 'revenge' on Tony in H15 but Middlo didn't put him in the race and was watching from the pits, as soon as Nicki realised, he was half a lap behind! Good times! Proper grudge meeting between fans too, not just riders!
  3. True but depends how it effects everyone else too! Leicester also have a few meetings in hand too though.
  4. Was that when he came third with 3 riders in the race. Didn't he fall off, get up, carry on and then when he crossed the line everyone cheered (almost standing ovation level) like he won the race!!
  5. There is such a big gap between 6th and 7th place and Plymouth have done more meetings than some other teams above them that I think they needed to win at Brum tonight to stand a chance. Also they seem to like giving the away teams a league point which will not help them at all!
  6. A couple of Poole fans moaning on Poole's twitter, saying Danny Ford should apologise for the track.
  7. Tbh though they only scraped the dirt off after a long convo with Stevie and Danny so I'm guessing that was agreed. But yes it was bad until H8 and then seemed to settle down a bit.
  8. They'll keep him now he's doing well for Kent, hoping that he brings some of the form over to Sheffield.
  9. Well that will get the police involved I suppose.
  10. Lol. Although James has had a fair bit of practice at Poole, so no excuses!
  11. Well it could mean it takes him a ride or so to get to grips with the track, like Broc Nicol at Poole. So we need to punish them in those early heats
  12. Kemp has never rode at Edinburgh? Or do they mean debut in Edinburgh colours?
  13. I meant less repetitive teams! One year I think we had Swindon at Poole 4 times!
  14. I was gonna say 62-28. But depends what the track is like and if Newcastle have their gating gloves on!
  15. Then, they will have done better away than they did at home!
  16. I can't make the connection between a relationship and the state of a track? Trouble is he is quick to judge other tracks (Poole mainly) but nothing can be said about Plymouth! EVER
  17. Speedway updates: 'Bit of grading. There appeared to be a bump coming out of bend 1 that riders arent happy with.' But not Plymouth tonight it seems. Bump is worse than a bit of dust?
  18. Calling all Poole fans you may be interested on watching this from Friday evening! Speed Freaks Chat Show : Darcy Ward : Episode 6 - YouTube
  19. Oh I can't disagree more, I'm enjoying the Champ this year. Hoping Poole stick with this league, much more interesting and a lot less repetitive!
  20. Difference being Poole is next to the town centre and Eastbourne is in the middle of nowhere. I'm sure that doesn't make it easy for them.
  21. Do they? In hot weather most tracks get a bit dusty. They should be better prepared this week with no rain clouds to put them off. Well that's a given. But you can only make use of what you have.
