  1. Nothing wrong with the track. Yes it was dusty from heats 1-10. Mainly because it was overcast all day and they were probably worried about it raining. Can you imagine if they watered it and we had a KL/Sheffield situation on our hands! They did get the water truck out in the break and was a lot better from H11 onwards, passing and everything! But seeing as you are all track experts maybe you can sort it out for next week?
  2. Oh, did he not leave Ipswich on good terms? Well he is my 10yo second fave rider behind Danny King and mainly because his name sounds like slime! I'm not even going to get in to explaining to her that they are on oppsing teams tonight, will leave it til she's been attending for a season first before i start confusing her with all the rules! But I will go for a Wolves win especially if Broc continues his form from last night.
  3. As much as I like Batch, I wouldn't really blame Sheffield for trying to get Chris Holder in the team. Hardly going to do any worse. Good move by Sheffield to put Batch at no2 tonight though, should get something in H8? Edit - also some riders when struggling want to quit the team, maybe Batch has asked to do that? But they wanted him to stay til Chris is ready...? I remember it happening with Josh G and Bjarne. Also Richie Worrall i think did have a convo with Matt once about if you want to replace me i understand (or words similar). But luckily Josh and Richie were convinced to stay and their form improved. Maybe that happened with Batch too but hasn't been able to sort it out. Which is weird considering his form is good for Kent.
  4. What is the track at Redcar like?? I mean Redcar are 4th in the table so must have a decent home record! Bearing on mind what you two have said i'll go for within 6 points either way
  5. Danyon Hume officially a Sheffield rider now. So only to decide whether to stick with Batch or not, which I think they will?
  6. I see that Sheffield have finally signed Danyon Hume. About bloomin' time!!
  7. Near top of the table clash! Redcar have a strength in depth team, so we will have our work cut out in this one. Benjamin Basso's first meeting, so be interesting to see how he gets on.
  8. Prob too short notice. Broc's 3 last rides were as good as most away no1's tbh. Just needed to get used to the track first. In his second ride he isn't far off getting second.
  9. No it isn't. It's your opinion not fact! He hasn't even ridden here yet. I think Nic Klindt knows more about him than you do
  10. Impressed with Palin, looked very good tonight. Broc also good after first two rides.
  11. 1. Who has predicted 70? Haven't read that anywhere. 2. Not one Poole fan has said we are going to 'waltz' the league. 3. Guests have been good, only thing that is truthful in that post!
  12. Yes, I did mention Howarth but thought he might struggle riding at no1 but just checked and he top scored for Leicester at Poole, so might have been a good choice. But does he still live in Manchester and might have been too short notice? All work to the same team average. Scunthorpe have a decent team, just suffering from injuries and a missing rider.
  13. I had a quick look and only Kennett and Kerr (they have both ridden for Poole in the past) that may have been chosen above. But Kennett has had a bad reaction to his covid jab and not sure if Kerr is riding abroad?? So on the face of it Nicol is a pretty decent guest and luckily he agreed as the rest would have been Howarth, Wells, Thomsen etc. Which are okay but would be tough for them at no1 as probably have 5 rides with the r/r as well.
  14. As a rule americans do tend to do well at Poole though! So might be good for 7-8 points.
  15. Unless you were thinking of Luke Becker who got 16+1 at reserve for Wolves at Poole in 2019??!
  16. Ah okay. Remember him not coming down to Poole when riding for KL in 2019 a couple of times?? So thought he had a problem with the track!
  17. Can't be. Looked back through 2018 and 2019 on updates and can't find his name! Unless it was away from home!! Maybe it was at Wolves haha.
  18. Was looking forward to the presentation! Hope he isn't too badly hurt. If he isn't riding tomorrow then the best away no1's at Poole have probably been Masters and Nicholls. Also Pickering was good too.
  19. Not good. Hope he's okay. Batch 9+1 at Kent tonight. Was on a max after his 2 first heats. No excuses imo. See what he does Thursday.
  20. Probably! lol But wasn't trying to start an argument, it was a rhoetical question tbh! I remember Tai turned it down when they tried to put him in one of the qualifying rounds when they did that. Was a few years ago. If you keep turning down invites then eventually you stop getting invited! Are you being sexist? Another rheotical question btw.
