  1. I couldn't see Kerr on any list or do I need to invest in some glasses! Haha.
  2. RORY RETURNS TO WHERE IT ALL BEGAN - PIRATES NORTHERN TOUR PREVIEW (poole-speedway.com) Guests listed in the article Edwards, Wright and Z.Cook. Pretty happy with that!
  3. Kurtz? Are you kidding! Surely his average has gone down from the start of the season.
  4. I know there was an Edinburgh fan on here asking about a live stream, not quite the same but H4 is on the Speedway Portal account on Youtube with a 4 lap battle between Hume and Richie Worrall. Entertaining race I thought!
  5. Spoken like a true Brit! Could also do a bit of sightseeing, everyone always says how nice a city Edinburgh is for it.
  6. Okay i thought the UK would make him follow the 10 day one before coming over! Though i am not sure what the rules are about entering the country after catching it.
  7. Bit depressing, Poole will be the first to go with the rising tides! Closely followed by Eastbourne!
  8. Yeah, forecasts in the UK aren't the best. Bournemouth tourism have been known to complain about them in the past when they forecast rain and it doesn't materalise as costs them money. They do more harm than good! One of my mum's friends never looks at a weather forecast, just looks out the window! lol
  9. Why can't people just record the GP? Then you get to see more speedway. Could it be the admission prices, what are they like compared to other tracks?
  10. Didn't tracks used to have to be actually waterlogged before you can call it off like in the 90s or whatever. I mean some days down here the forecast has been for thundery showers during an afternoon, and guess what? Nothing! Forecasts seem to be a bit risky in this country. I hope for the fans sake it was the correct decision as if Peterborough don't get many dates, it would a shame to miss one.
  11. That's weird because when test and trace phoned me up cos my 9 year old caught it a month ago. I asked about if you had to do a test near the end of the ten day isolation, they said not to do another test because you can stay positive for up to 90 days!
  12. Oh no!! This no2 position sure has a curse on it! I blame ZK if he didn't let people down (apparently) and get himself sacked, we'd be okay.
  13. Ermm different tracks!! How many did he get last time at Poole? Wasn't that 2 as well? So no difference!
  14. Someone's got their pants in a twist! No, I wouldn't want to watch speedway every week at Plymouth but then I wouldn't want to watch it at Eastbourne either. I am not a fan of small tracks and even less interested in whatever Zane is doing. Although wasn't Zane at Poole last week watching? Bit weird to attend a meeting when you've been sacked, but okay!
  15. Roundabouts in Poole bigger than the Plymouth track! Not that I have a problem with it. But it was mentioned on the KL vs Sheffield thread that the reason Josh did so well there is because he prefers the bigger tracks, so not surprising he did better today than Tuesday!
  16. Sam and Richie have ridden the Poole track loads in the past though. It was mentioned Josh likes bigger tracks? And everywhere must be bigger than Plymouth!!
  17. See I told ya. Although Edinburgh took their time to get going! Good meeting though.
  18. Well they were racing..... ....for last place!!!! I can understand when it happened when double points were involved but not so much anymore.
  19. Poole is more of a fair track than Plymouth. I expect a closer meeting.
  20. Oooh interesting! He normally rides at 3 for Plymouth so should do okay at reserve.
  21. Yeah but are they putting sports on that would be on during the day later on instead of speedway? If Olympics aren't the reason then not looking too good!
  22. Be interesting to see if more meetings are shown after the Olympics has finished!
  23. Me either. But didn't Klindt recomend NBJ, so I guess he knows what he is talking about!
  24. SIGNING | PIRATES SIGN RATED DANE Poole Pirates have filled the vacancy left by the complications in travel encountered by Czech rider Ondrej Smetana, by signing the promising young Dane Benjamin Basso. FULL STORY https://bit.ly/3yqcUws #Speedway #PiratePride Poole twitter account
