  1. What if they mean no hospiliatlity til mid May? There is no way speedway will get ahead of that sector! As I have said before, July a much more realistic option, esp with schools prob not going back til just before Easter acc to Boris...? Hospital admission still on the rise atm.
  2. So according to Sky News the government scientists are advising not to open hospiliatlity til May but speedway will start at the same time! Yeah right!
  3. You know more about Eastbourne than me! But to me this sounds more like as an away rider? IDK though: Everyone at the Eastbourne HG Aerospace #Eagles is delighted to see Lewis Bridger return to #speedway We wish Lewis well on his return and hopefully we will see him in action at #Arlington in the near future. #UTE Eastbourne Eagles twitter
  4. Maybe it was a typo! I did google it and only articles I could find about a possible return for Southampton were from 2008 and 2011.
  5. First I've heard of that! There are a fair few Poole fans knocking around Southampton these days so could work. Where in Southampton are we talking?
  6. No!! But it seems to be the year of u-turns by the government, so maybe Poole would do one of their own Until the league we are in is covered in the AGM then I am covering all bases!
  7. I was thinking cos Poole is the closest to Swindon and the shortest distance to travel. I have no idea if he would actually want to ride for Poole lol. But always happy to guest so I'm guessing is okay with the club!
  8. Batch prob would be looking to see if Poole are going to move up, or ride in Sweden?
  9. So you think speedway promoters know more about the virus then those who have a career in the medical profession? The clue is your answer there they said 'could' not 'would' and it was a new virus at the start of the pandemic, no one knew much about it!
  10. I was talking about the greyhounds at Poole not BV!!
  11. They will have to buy it off the council first. Not sure they could afford it if they can't afford to keep the greyhounds running? Oh and I haven't mentioned the NSS
  12. I am quoting someone in the medical profession, so you know... and July is being positive! If I wasn't being positive, I would have said not until next year. May is like believing in fairies, you'll never see it happening!
  13. More likely to start in Poole before Manchester! Seeing as Manchester has been in a lockdown tier system since last June acc to Andy Burnham!
  14. Realistic more like. Witty has said the hospitals will be under pressure until March, and you think speedway will be able to start 8 weeks later? Not a chance, esp when they won't race behind closed doors. July at the earliest for me, and even that is very optimistic!
  15. Nothing will be starting in May either btw..
  16. That's what they said last year and we are still waiting! Manchester always seems to be in the highest tier in the tier system.
  17. Poole have stated that they are committed to the Championship. With all the Polish interference I am happy with that decision!!
  18. It sounds like you have spent enough time on Google for everyone!
  19. Tom Cruise has heard about this and says he is ready to take on this Mission Impossible !! Edit - Isn't it weird how if a football stadium gets a new one it puts the club on a stronger footing but if a speedway one tries to get one you are scared it is going to close the club down.
  20. Well according to the Bournemouth Echo, publically Poole aren't looking to move back up.. “Obviously losing Swindon is a massive blow for the Premiership but our plans stay the same. We are committed to the Championship for 2021.”
  21. Nothing says deluded like them thinking they are going to start in May!! Absolutely no chance. July at the absolute earliest I'd say.
  22. Pretty bad that it takes a global pandemic to realise this though! And, Brexit of course!!
