It's OK though.... one or two are bound to be called off due to poor weather forecasts...... LOL
-
8.52 with the reduction in a "watered down" league could be a bargain.

A quick genuine question for all Oxford fans on here. How many of you are intending to watch all three teams in all three leagues in 2024?
-
I know this is a Scunthorpe thread, but I wonder how many Oxford fans can afford to watch three teams in 2024? Some other teams can hardly attract fans to watch just one team in one league!

Just as well, look what they are doing for Man Utd...... -
If they have to re-grade the track after the main meeting, they won't have an interval as well, surely?
-
Perhaps it's been postponed and will now take place at the end of next year.....

Sixth. They are in the National League South. -
It depends on what that budget is ! LOL !!

So, you are saying Kyle is lying, then?
-
He's said on Facebook that most other team spots are already filled, so he just has to wait and see what happens.
-
What are they going to do? Lock the doors and hold them in as hostages? Doesn't matter where it is, people can walk out if they want, just means they will be able to go on the beach (weather permitting, but it's bound to be sunny !!) or back to their hotel.
-
Are they bringing back the green helmet colour????
-
How about waiting until the actual 1-7 is announced before making predictions on the coming 2024 season?
-
Riders can "demand" what they want, but the promoters don't have to pay it, if they feel that the "demand" is excessive.
-
Jack Smith on a 3? Are you mad?
-
Indeed, but is that the promoters or the riders?

Peter Facenna has already stated that the plan is for Glasgow to remain in the Championship (Facebook/Podcast).
-
He's been named in the Teesside Silver Helmet line up, so can't have burned the bridges too far.

As Newcastle found out to their ultimate cost. Really hope it works out for all at Worky. Used to love going across every Saturday night when I was filming for Bob (GRT Media) and Workington were always my second team (see where I was born for why!). Hopefully I will get across in 2024 to sample the place for myself.

Adam Roynon is from pretty near (just down t'road!!).

So, in that case, if the riders can't be bothered, why should the fans? Got to feel sorry for Workington promotion. It's probably costing them money to host the event and the field doesn't really have a Riders Championship feel to it, so fans might choose to stay away. On top of that, there is a big announcement after the meeting and IF it is that they are moving up to Championship level, they appear to have little choice as, if it is to be believed, there will be no NDL next season. Just hope they aren't being asked to move up too quickly as it could all end in tears, but I really hope not.

If ( a very big if) Glasgow "moved up", their nearest rivals would be Belle Vue. Whether it would be in their financial interest to do so is very doubtful. The Facenna's are very good business men and if it was a case of just chucking money away they would probably make the move, but, as it stands, I'm guessing that the CL is the place to be.
