  1. Which is easily deleted..... but hasn't been. All I'm saying is that he does himself no favours.
  2. George Congreve guests for Archie Freeman and it's R/R for Mason Watson. https://britishspeedway.co.uk/ndl/preview-leicester-v-berwick-ndl-2/ Also Josh Embleton has been ruled out and Kai Ward guests.
  3. In case you are unaware (apologies if you are aware!) Wright woke up this morning feeling a lot better and declared he was fit to ride, but Riss who felt unwell during his meeting last night, woke up and declared himself UNFIT to ride, so Redcar switched the guest facility to Riss at number 1. This on Redcar's Facebook and Twitter a/c's. The other one missing, is Jake Mulford.
  4. Who pays for it though? I totally agree all tracks should have two ambulances - but someone has to "suffer" the extra cost. Unless you can get a sponsor to pay for it, then it's down to the fans, yet again and some might say they are paying enough (if not more than VFM) as it is.
  5. These are not 2 legged matches (same as League matches in other words) so should be allowed.
  6. No offence (I know Roy and he knows me), but, I don't think people are going to Redcar to listen to Roy Clarke. Whether he's there are not, people will attend if the track action is continually good.
  7. Yup https://britishspeedway.co.uk/23results/redcar_02.04.23_res.pdf

  9. Apologies for misinterpreting your post. It used to be 4h and 4a, but I think they changed that for reassessed averages, but can't remember what they changed it to! I am sure some kind person can inform us. Just trawled through the rule book and for Championship riders with an assessed CMA it is 8 "qualifying" matches (presumably home and away - so you could ride 7 away and 1 home!) before they get a "proper" average.
  10. A damn sight lower than the 9.53 he is currently on. Schlein could easily reduce his 8.18 too. Quite easy to knock off 3pts between them, allowing Berwick to bring in a 5pt average (or below) rider and release Stoneman or Coles, if they wished to do so.
  11. It's probably not going to be the same 1-7 for very long, I suspect, once Jorgensen (and Schlein??) gets a proper average.
  12. Just pointing out facts. Maybe the best thing to do would be start the season later and finish it earlier? With the amount of fixtures, should be pretty easy to do.
  13. It's OK saying it's "dry in Scotland atm," but first, where in Scotland? Secondly, it doesn't really matter what the weather is like now, if the damage has already been done. As far as covers are concerned, you need volunteers to put them down and take them back up again. Not always possible. Some tracks may not be allowed to put covers down, owing to their landlords not giving permission. Berwick have/had covers, so maybe someone can tell us why they were not used in this instance?
  14. But scored 12 for a Newcastle Select side at Redcar last night
  15. The Ben Fund meeting is about to start and I've noticed that half the field (8 out of 16) are ex-Newcastle riders !!
  16. Team Managers announced as George English & Stuart Robson
  17. Yes, but if there has been a change and the Pits Marshal or Clerk of the Course hasn't informed him, he can only go by who is programmed. Most referees would spot any uninformed changes pretty quickly, though.
  18. Explanation from the Farewell Committee (copied and pasted off Facebook) is given on the Robbo's Farewell thread in Testimonial Section on the Forum.
