I'd guess that, with no restrictions currently, you will be able to pay at the gate (you will still be able to buy online, of course).

I'd personally switch the reserves around, otherwise I'd agree with that line up. Hard to tell on the pics but the pits seem pretty much in the same position (pics are on Facebook). I believe they are containers, with the fronts 'chopped off.'
-
New pits, as the old ones "blew away" during the storms, according to Dave Tinning at the Meet the Riders Night.

Seems so and the good news is Fans are now going to be allowed into the stadium. Taken off Facebook: Following discussions with the landlords, the public are allowed into the stadium on press and practice on Sunday 20th March. Doors open at 11am with riders taking to the track at 12. No indoor grandstand facilities are open but the outside terrace will be open and the catering van will be there to purchase food from. Entry is via the main fire exit gate.

Been at Abbey Stadium since 1949. Before that they raced at the now demolished Gorse Hill Aerodrome, where dirt track racing had taken place since 1928

Could it be I'm using Google Chrome and others (that it works for) are using something else?
-
Not working for me either.

I presume he's on 4.00 average?
-
You are quite right, of course. I didn't mean that older fans should be alienated, which is why I said the sport can't afford to lose any customers. Perhaps I worded it badly, if so, I apologise.
-
Isn't it already? Speedway can't afford to lose any customers, but attracting new (younger) fans through the turnstiles is a must if the sport is to survive in the 'longer term'.

15 heats.

Very sensible !!!

Rode three seasons for Stoke (NOT a big track): 2007 ave 7.47, 2008 ave 7.95, 2009 ave 7.63. Can't all have been achieved away on big tracks?

Scored 15+1 for Berwick in the Tyne Tweed Trophy 2nd leg and 8 in the League match four weeks later at Brough in 2012, the year he quit.
-
He was born 24 Feb 1955, so was 35 when he rode at Brough that year.
-

We signed him from Eastbourne after he'd recovered from a broken leg, I seem to remember, but swapped him for Phil Jeffrey, as you say, after he couldn't get his Diamonds career going. He rode seven matches for us in 1991 averaging 2.53. When he came back with the Tigers, he managed to beat David Bargh!!
-
No pressure on the kid then.....

After 'retiring' from speedway he took up bodybuilding and therefore put on a bit of weight, which was all muscle. He has lost a lot of muscle weight over the last year or so. He didn't get 'fat' as we know it, as far as I know.
