Not bath night then.... Was only joking and sure it'll be a fantastic crowd as usual, just thinking if it was financially viable you should be back in the Premiership if a Friday is no problem, sure a Thursday would soon be accepted, but that's another topic that'll come up again I expect. Anyway good luck to both teams next week, the final as expected with 2 teams close to each other on track and geographicly to get bumper crowds.

Seem to remember him being cleaner than a lot of riders across his career, but maybe he tried a bit harder in the local derbies with Poole giving that impression ?
-
Expect that some bloke was still somewhat faster and neater than the other 2....

On holiday in Cornwall at the moment for the first time in 20 years or so, and drove through the china clay 'hills' at Nanpean today where Tralawny used to race. Saw Chris there back then, exciting and giving his all as a youngster, he's a fantastic advert for British speedway, still riding at such a high level today.

Poole have a little bit to thank a rogue Eastbourne promoter for their success since the drop to the championship, sure Brennen, Lawson, and Foord would have been in an Eastie team if still going, along with Edward's and Abblit. Certainly hasn't helped the development of youth riders them disappearing the way they did.

Have they gone mad!! Signing the same up and coming Aussie again who gives his all instead of their usual European no hoper they normally sign......

Birmingham v Oxford Mon 8th July PL

Although he's a tough lad, expect it's beginning to affect him a bit on the mental side as well, having to carry the team on many occasions to date, when should be a No 3 or 4 really and the odd team decision of getting rid of his Poole team mate Cook. -

You like me have seen Foord at Arlington and Kent since he was tiny, has always over riden from day one and at times didn't end well, looks like that's just the way he rides I suppose.

Laguta was definitely a big pile of number 2 here last season.... -
Haven't heard any negative from Brum or Poole this year re team mates etc, so maybe he's not the problem?

To me it was stupid of the management to ask him in the first place. No one could win, if he got 12 points, people would say they'd made a mistake sacking him and not Lampart, if he got 0 they'd say he didn't try had the hump and was the right one to go and wouldn't have done him any favours, or heaven forbid he got injured and ruined his chances of another team straight away. I expect most riders would have said no a day after being sacked I would have thought.

Sounds like it's one person with a split personality arguing with himself to me, well that's what my friend thinks.....I think..... -

Slightly off topic, but forgot that Kyle Newman was in and around some really top line riders that year points wise. Such a shame some really bad injuries stopped his progression from there. -
I'm a chemist...... just made a cup of coffee and doing a lunch shortly.

So sad when you think the standard of the NDL 5 /6 years ago, not so sure the likes of Brennen/Edwards/Flint etc would have got to where they are today if this had been the NDL standard when they were 15 year olds. In fact most matches aren't even up to the standard of the 2nd half junior matches at Arlington a few years ago and they were an extra 'free' tag on to a meeting. Wish I could be bothered to find your and my posts( if you still can) in about 2018/19, but we could see this happening back then and sure the way it went hastened the demise of the likes of Eastbourne and Kent ( and a few others) as well. -

I think you're right, heat of the moment can get to all of us, I've done it watching the tv at some meetings, although try not to in the stadium, but a planned interveiw like Woffinden's is unforgivable really. As Poole Keith has said there is an amazing crop of young( mostly Spanish and some Italians) who conduct themselves so well in a foreign language, they're a credit to moto gp. Don't ever remember Mark Loram seeming it necessary to drop the bomb in the heat of the moment or in an interview. -

Most Europeans speak really good English and sure the F word is one of the first they learn. I watch quite a lot of the European stuff on Netflix etc, and even speaking in their own languages normally the F word( plus most of the 'others') don't need subtitles. -

So basically if your reserves first name was Lewis all ok, if not unhappy with the rules....
