I can see your point and pleased Perry has got a NL ride, so not anti it being done, but I'd have a bet during the season that when there's an injury or a possibility of a team change(s) caused by an injury etc and it comes in at 36.25 not 36 that the precedent set would make it difficult not to allow it even if it didn't have all teams in agreement.

Did try that with a different browser and still couldn't, am using chrome as usual now and couldn't on that before, but can now after changing settings on the google 'bar' for privacy and cookie settings that comes up at the bottom of a page if you scroll down. It may not be that and just a coincidence, but know it's been annoying a lot of posters including me.

I've not been able to 'like' etc on posts for months ( like a lot of posters on here) and not found out why, also got fed up with more ads keep popping up so went into privacy and cookie settings to switch off all the unnecessary ad ones. Straight after could like a post, don't know whether it's just coincidence but maybe worth a try, at worst cuts back on the pop ups

The one thing you can definitely see with the possibility of both Tom and Ben ( and quite a few others across the championship) possibly achieving towards a 9 average the aim of lowering the level of the championship(good or bad) is well on the way. With the same points limit in 2025 the likes of Tom and Ben will be No1's or no longer in the championship.

Perhaps I've always rated Tom, saw him first stradle a bike at Arlington, and progress from that stage and don't think he'll let you down. As a matter of interest would you see Ben Cook as a failure if he doesn't get towards a 9 point average with his home track knowledge already in hand? Again I would have thought around an 8 point average would be a result, but assume that would see it a failure? Think if Tom and Ben average around/in excess of 8 Poole are in with a good chance again.

I know the league has been weakened, but if he achieves an 8 point average, would that not be deemed a success and vindicate the decision anyway?

Have to be honest the above is true on both counts, shame to say it, but would you really want to start your championship campaign with both those variables ?
