Poole Vs Scunny league 24th May
gazzac replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Isn't that the definition of being inconsistent which over the years he has been really? I'm not a Poole fan and nothing against Steve but I know who'd I prefer to have as a No1/ heat leader..... -
Redcar vs Poole BSN SF 2nd leg 20th May
gazzac replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Jason has always been a polite level headed young man, even as a kid at Eastbourne was exactly the same, a pleasure to watch and speak to, always seemed to be in control of the bike and himself. -
Mind you the way his riding for Poole at the moment r/r probably won't do you any harm.....
-
Be about 20 in the crowd so unlikely to be a success......

Poole v Oxford - Good Friday
gazzac replied to stevehone's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Indeed, seem to remember Neil asking the Poole fans not to boo/wind up Nicki too much back in the day as it got him in the right mood, and him winding up the Poole fans on bend 2 back at Eastbourne, but I never remembered it to be nasty either way, tended to be pantomime. I remember chanting cheat at Bjarne Pedersen one night at Arlington when he slid off to get Poole a tactical in the following heat. Whether he did or not we'll never be sure, ( although the sort of clever thing Matt Ford would have tried I suppose) but it was fun, happy days..... -
Suppose that's the problem with him made worse with age, even when he was track record holder in the past, he was still capable of 0 or 10. Remember him coming to Eastbourne back in day when we had Zager at No 1 for a season, sure he beat him comfortably in his first couple of rides, but seemed to switch off even with good track conditions and had a score card something like 3 3 0 0 0, Zager went on to 2 2 3 3 3.

Poole v Oxford - Good Friday

Good all the generations going, but a lot of tracks ( none stated) you'd probably be related to the whole crowd..... -
Indeed at least you know he won't disappear in a strop if something negative happens, ideal 28 day signing.
-
really.....
-
Maybe does to the fans through the season especially at home, maybe more home wins at 2nd rather than 5th, although I like'd a good close match 46/44 win in heat 15 was always a good evening, but any loss made it along drive home.
-
No restraining order issued quite yet then ?
-
Won't matter at all if neither teams get to the playoff final or the KOC final I suppose .....
-
So probably a slight advantage on average over 2 legs to have the away one first I suppose if both matches close?
-
Always....
-
You wish, even then probably lose the playoffs
-
Think he did when he was at Eastbourne...or you could lend him one?
-
Phew that's ok then, thought he may have lost his hair brush and had a breakdown....

In her defence if you go on any paint site or similar there's normally between 50 and 100 shades of purple ? https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/429038301995584153/

I reckon they were red ones as usual and were put in a prewash to soften them up and someone left some blue jeans in and this was the result. Surely must have been something like that, can't believe it was planned .

Going to be mostly chicken nuggets this year and not the many gold nuggets of a few seasons ago, but as you say will be a close league and still think there maybe a couple to emerge at the bottom of the pan.....
