  1. I think if he rode there would be alot of Ipswich fans up in arms
  2. Overall I think Sheffield were lucky to get 18, yes Hume could/should have got excluded in heat 4, the other moaning was Doyle starting behind the tapes not at the tapes but Hume made mistakes when in scoring positions which cost Ipswich far more especially when half a lap in from of Holder. Referees make mistakes, that is a fact. As for Lambert words escape me, well one springs to mind!! If i I was Sheffield I would postpone now, a damp track would favour Ipswich in my view.
  3. I still think Sheffield have a good chance. I very much doubt Tai or Tobi would have beaten Ipswich top two at Foxhall , Chris Holder was an embarrassment, probably get double figures tonight.King has been brilliant lately but may struggle tonight, it will depend on the lower order riders , Emil and Doyle wont go unbeaten tonight.
  4. No they won't do that, the score at Foxhall cannot be adjusted down to 10 heats. If it is a bad forecast postpone it . If it goes ahead and it rains dont let it go to heat 10.
  5. Will Glasgow risk getting Vissing back for the final? Thankfully Anders Rowe is ready to race, he can be our trump card or our achilles heel.
  6. At least we know now for certain Lambert wont be riding in this country next season, he doesnt deserve a gold medal this season and he did not deserve one last season. As for saying the Ipswich riders were brainless and didnt mind ending up on the kart track, that says more about him than it does the Ipswich riders.
  7. In fact although he had been subject to a hard move by Doyle on bend 2 , Lawson shook Doyle's hand at the end of the race, Lambert would not do that.
  8. He came over for easy pickings and found he was riding at Ipswich when he expected the final to be against Belle Vue, unlucky Robert.
  9. He must have known that too so would not have tried too hard, he only seemed to try when he was against lesser riders.
  10. A lesser rider would not have been in the fence he would have been nowhere near Doyle. Why should Doyle leave him any room?
  11. Hume tries so hard but should realise getting third is preferable to binning it on the last bend of the last lap when half a lap in front of Holder. Holder was an embarrassment, like him as a person and has had some terrible crashes but last night was shameful. It was like the Kings Lynn night over again. Lambert is far too big for his boots in my opinion, you make Doyle sound like dirty Nicky which is isn't. Doyle is a very fair rider but hard rider with a great attitude. You are correct about Abi, BSN have far better presenters. What happened to Howarth line, we know the set up's now so it will be different!
  12. Lambert even said on tv last year that he would like to come back this year, I thought it was rubbish at the time and I don't think anyone realised it would only be for a handful of meetings.
  13. Well done Glasgow, did not think 10 was ever enough for Oxford but they came out firing and looked good for them at certain points. Both teams using a tactical is strange but certainly gave Glasgow the boost they needed and Oxford faded. They had some luck with Ace falling and replaced by Colin but overall definitely deserved so now its up to the Pirates to sort them out and maybe meet some of the nice Glaswegians in The George.
  14. Agree it is in the balance but in my opinion Oxford losing Jenkins is a major problem and one not easily covered by r/r.
  15. Personally would think less than Harris would have got but unlike Harris Lawson is a gater so that will help against normal riders but probably wont help against Ipswich heat leaders. I also think Harris was unlucky not to get a ride in the SWC.
