Yes Bellego looked a reasonable signing until he actually got on his bike! Berge has a relatively poor average given his ability, typical of most French sportsmen he can be brilliant but too often isn't.
He wont be one of the best riders in the league, he is inconsistent and will not be a top scorer. A very risky choice but not the only risky choice is this team.
This is a good team and will make the play offs with ease,Janowski a spent force is a ridiculous comment. Harris has proved over and over again he can do it at this level, he is still a top rider in this league, Kerr is the best reserve, Tungate,Klindt and Wright will all hold their own at least, I think the Oxford track will suit them.
Tungate has a pretty decent average considering we had stronger riders in the league the last time he rode here. I think Oxford are going to have an exciting season with the riders they have chosen.
They have a rider who just won the Australian title, not sure how he can be regarded as a second string, Magic may not be as good as some of the number ones now but he will still do a great job for the team and Bomber is still a heat leader in my view, Klindt is a great gater and will win many races. I think this team are play off certainties.
Pearson got 4 yesterday, does that mean he will get 6 in the championship, difficult to compare scores in a individual competition to scores in a league. Kurtz and Pickering both got 8, does that mean they end up with the same average in the Premiership?
Exciting times at Oxford this season, who wouldn't want to watch Bomber, Maciej and Charles Wright every week, might be tempted to visit myself and watch the occasional Premiership meeting.
As he hasn't ridden here for so long then re-assessed on a 8 point average would be fair. I think it is fantastic he is riding here and I will try to see him ride as much as possible, he was always a pleasure to watch.
