I have no idea how the Dream Team idea would work, we only have 12.97 for 3 riders, Zach, Rew ans Zische doesn't fit, surely to get Zach at reserve would need a rider on a 3 point average or less so that would probably mean a place for Ablitt.
I don't think Drew will have a team next season but I suspect he will get a place later in the season when injuries happen, he definitely has ability but seems to give up too easily at times. I agree the make up of the team needs to be solid but I did think with one year riding at CL level Ablitt could be retained.
Yes they did in Kings Lynn v Poole league match, after a couple of incidents on the first bend, Batchelor withdrew with a very minor injury to his hand which recovered quickly enough to ride in his next scheduled meeting and Holder refused to ride because of what he considered was an unsafe track. Worth pointing out both riders were riding for Kings Lynn at the time and his brother Jack rode the track well, Poole went on to win the meeting.
Don't see how Zach can start at reserve . As quite a few teams seem to be starting with a 2 pointer, Roynon should have a good season as he is better than most of the reserves .
You could be correct, to win this season with the same team we started with was a breath if fresh air. I would love to see Kyle Newman back he ended the season well and could have a good season at reserve.
He's not so young or hungry or any good anymore, his current average in the CL is lower than it was in the top league then. He does occasionally pull out all the stops but not very often.
Yes I agree there, Lawson is not a gating tart in my opinion, he is a good gater but when he doesn't gate he gives it everything to try to pass and more often than not makes that pass. King is another one who is a great gater but doesn't give up if he doesn't gate, part of why I wanted him back. There are some riders who don't bother if they don't gate.
There are as many adverts in a Speedway programme as the football one I buy. Most Speedway content can be found on line too, I buy a Speedway programme mainly as it helps the club I buy a football programme for the content, I know it makes little or no difference in the football clubs revenue.
I wish we had Hume back at Poole but not too concerned that we didn't get Complin although he is an exciting rider usually and probably worth his current average.
I don't think football teams are turning away from a physical programme, the Premier league team I support certainly have a programme and has alot more in it than a Speedway programme and is 3.50 which compared to the 3.00 for a Speedway programme is a bargain considering how much information is in it.
Yes I have been there on some of those occasions and sometimes found his way to be a little arrogant but It is probably just his way and my interpretation of it. He is a completely different character to Danny King.
