  1. I don't think those two things are compatible. If Adam got a 7 point average we would not be 8th!
  2. Don't really get the misgivings or doubts about NKI, always gives his best and is still a very good rider.in my opinion not many riders wil have a higher average than him at the end of the season. Like most riders he has had a few injuries but he is fully fit now so should be a great signing. Really nice guy too, can't see any reason why he shouldn't have a good season.
  3. If the Cook Brothers ride like they did at the end of last season then I think Poole will be stronger, Roynon rode for Scunthorpe last season and had some good meetings, he could be a real bonus, home and away, always liked Adam, very approachable, had some terrible injuries and maybe doesn't take the risks he used to.
  4. Yes difficult to assess but I would fancy Poole to win on aggregate.
  5. I would have thought our reserves would beat most of the other clubs reserves on a regular basis with possibly the exception of Scunthorpe .
  6. It isn't arrogance iin my view, it is confidence our club has picked a good team that can compete and personally I think we have. Obviously if we are unlucky with injuries that won't be helpful, I didn't want King to leave but we have used the points to strengthen at reserve and with some teams having a 2 pointer, our reserves should be capable of winning alot of races especially at home.
  7. The only issue with having Roynon seems to be if he unfortunately got injured then there will be very few options for a guest. Obviously i sincerely hope that doesn't happen as he has had many bad injuries in his career.
  8. Maybe not clean up but they should easily beat the 2 pointers and i can't see Pearson and Hook beating them on a regular basis . This is not arrogance but confidence.
  9. Good signing should clean up with all the 2 pointers .
  10. One of my favorite riders, so exciting to watch. Such a shame to have his career cut short.
  11. Been stated by you many times, don't remember many others stating the league doesn't matter and nobody cares.
  12. If he didn't insult or bully or troll maybe he wouldn't get it back.
  13. He calls people trolls and bullies just because they don't agree with him. Well done the Saints.
  14. Kemp was ok at the start of the season for Poole but at the end he wasn't great. Zach will prove to be a good signing in my opinion but Ben is the better of the brothers and the Peterborough track will suit him.
  15. You can't expect too much early but he will improve and he has the right attitude and will listen to the more experienced riders in the team.
  16. Maybe the improvement will come this season and he will push on. Definitely has potential in my opinion.
  17. I agree, the wife watches American Christmas films!! I usually watch sport on telly and the odd quiz show, sometimes watch a film.
  18. I agree with you , he certainly has potential and has got the right attitude . I am sure he will progress in to a very good rider.
  19. Yes that is a good point although I would be confident for our reserves to outscore them on aggregate.
  20. He had a good season in 2022 of that there is no doubt and to achieve an average similar to his brother is a good achievement considering he is regarded as slightly behind Steve in terms of ability. In my opinion a good signing by any team, always gives his best and is a very good rider on his day.
  21. Well I think most of us knew the team or could easily guess it, Jack Thomas may have been a minor surprise. I suppose they will leave the Roynon signing announcement until later in the week or maybe next week.
  22. Yes always liked Kyle, spoke to him in passing in the bar at the play off final meeting. Always has the Pirates in his heart and rarely has a bad meeting at Poole.
