I thought the racing was good last night and much better than Monmore has been this season. Brennan was good last night but was poor at Poole in the playoff semi. I also thought the racing in the first leg was good although some races were spread out.

They definitely deserved it and it is a shame the same riders didn't perform at the same level this season for varying reasons.Palin was terrific at Belle Vue which was completely unexpected.

Lemon was at least partly to blame he made the wrong decisions and Rob Lyon made the right decisions. Peterborough also had issues with r/r for Ulrich and Craig Cook guesting for Hans.in the home leg and Lewis Kerr in the away where he scored one point! I don't many would have had Peterborough as favourites.

I like the fact that the two Premiership play off meetings are in the same week, don't remember that happening before and the fact that the result is still in the balance which is a great thing too. I don't think that is true, there are losses but I am not convinced any team runs many meetings at a loss. The play offs, because they are generally well supported are money spinners and sponsors like them because of TV and press coverage. If a team isn't in the playoffs, it doesn't mean that team is automatically loss making.
