  1. Forecast according to met office looking bad for Friday at the moment.
  2. I don't think that is true, they wouldn't cancel a meeting just because they want to hold the second leg.
  3. Forecast will probably change again, too early for an accurate prediction.
  4. Personally I think Scott still has something to offer and is on a low average so worth a risk in my view.
  5. Heavy rain forecast tomorrow about 5 on Met Office but Friday looks slightly better, I would imagine they won't call it off until at least Thursday and it could have improved by then.
  6. I would say that my take on the first leg incident is that there was a gap plenty big enough for Holder to go through but the gap was closed slightly by Kerr which meant Holder moved slightly wider which resulted in him brushing Wright. I thought it was a harsh decision. The Kurtz heat one incident in the second leg was different in my view as Kurtz seemed to lose a bit of control and seemed to ride straight into Kerr. I think in a final both incidents should have been all 4 back. I think too many times referees feel they have to exclude someone just because they have passed the first bend.
  7. I don't agree it was all the referee's fault, Sheffield didn't ride well enough especially on their own track but the Holder /Wright incident in the first leg was completely different to the Kurtz exclusion in the second leg. Overall the decisions went against Sheffield but it wasn't the reason they lost.
  8. I don't think they would do that Steve, too risky to not ride if its dry.
  9. Weather looks OK for Leicester Saturday so do we know when the Poole leg will be re-scheduled for if it's rained off Friday.
  10. I thought the heat 3 decision was wrong and should have been all 4 back but on reflection over the two meetings Sheffield didn't lose because of the referee, Holder and Howarth were to blame, Howarth was particularly poor at Sheffield and Holder seems to not be too clever at times and was outsmarted by Kurtz, you can't expect Kurtz not to fight for his position just because you are friends, it seemed obvious what Kurtz was going to do and Holder should have seen it coming.
  11. Never seen any tripe at Poole, tried it once on holiday didn't like it!
  12. Haha, as you know I was talking about refereeing decisions, Lambert scored as many as Jye would have on past form, I think Simon rode ok just got out battled at times. As for Wright that wasn't bad luck that was madness on his part. True though you would have had probably a 18 point lead without Wright's moment if stupidity.
  13. You would have thought that they would have tried to change that for this meeting, commentators were saying gate 3 is notoriously bad.
  14. I thought the racing was good last night and much better than Monmore has been this season. Brennan was good last night but was poor at Poole in the playoff semi. I also thought the racing in the first leg was good although some races were spread out.
  15. Shouldn't there be two referees for a final and the second one could look at all the angles like var in football.
  16. Don’t think we would do that if we had just lost a play off!
  17. Heat 11 correct decision , heat 3 was definitely a poor decision.
