What happened to Paul?

Poole is a smooth track these days that you can race hard for four laps. I am not one of the fans who is annoyed or upset by Basso going, can't say I am not disappointed because he is a never give up entertainer who Glasgow fans will love. Good luck to him and Glasgow, it should be a great season for you.

Well depends who else is in the team, maybe Ben Cook has more potential although I think Stefan certainly has more to come so which will have the better season who knows

Yes I agree, I said that in my previous post. Poole have a history of changing the team mid season to improve the team and I don't have a problem with that and we are all a bit disappointed Basso isn't back because he changed our season and is a nice guy.At the end of the day you have to look after yourself in Speedway. Good luck to him, you will definitely be entertained!

And snapped up immediately by Plymouth so he wasn't out of work. Why shouldn't we improve the team if we have an opportunity to do so.

I am not bitter just disappointed, Basso is good and would improve most teams so good luck to him and Glasgow. He is doing what is best for him which is what he should do. I hope he has a great season for Glasgow and Peterborough, he is a nice guy and deserves it.

Not much under 9 so looks difficult to see much improvement on his current average.

Even the Glasgow promotion said Poole was a lovely place to visit prior to the playoffs but you can't help some people slagging off where other live just to get a reaction.

Our arrogance was justified last season! Maybe confusing confidence with arrogance.

Good looking team, i think Basso will end up as a heat leader and maybe Ulrich may struggle early on but he should be back to normal later in the season. Definitely play off material but whether this team can win the league remains to be seen.

Always liked him at Poole, a good rider on his day although he seemed to go downhill a bit in the last few years but it was nice to have a local lad in the team.

When he rode at Leicester for Poole I thought he was poor.

In my opinion this is all just for the fans, Basso said himself that riding for Poole next season was complicated, he is hardly going to drop his Danish team to ride for Poole. The Ford's knew that he was very unlikely to be able to ride for us on a Wednesday, probably just annoyed they can't get a loan fee as he hasn't done enough meetings to be an asset. It is most likely that the team plans haven't involved Basso for a while and he was signed by Glasgow weeks ago.The problem was that the fans took him to their hearts so they had to release a statement telling fans how hard they had tried to keep him.

He didn't before when he rode for Swindon so why should he now?

You expect him to know actual facts !!

And be treated like a God. How many followers would he have?
