The other point is i suspect Middlo may have thought with Holder refusing to ride it was an opportunity to get some unexpected points and told all the Poole boys to get on with it.
-
The track wasnt perfect to start with, track prep was not as good as usual that is clear, i think they have been trying a different shale which may be causing some issues. I remember going to Kings Lynn when Waggy was in charge and it was so deep only Crump to get round everyone else was falling off so they took the top layer off and it was ok, it was nowhere near that bad on the evening in question, Holder has said in recent times how scary speedway, i believe he said recently where there was a sun break, speedway is scary enough without sun in your eyes which to me means he is scared of racing and if the track isnt perfect he finds it too scary. The track was not perfect but it was raceable and most riders were coping except Chris Holder who stopped in his race which i think most thought was a bike issue but wasnt. So he was refusing to ride anymore at that point.
-
That could happen here too, it is not inconceiveable that the premiership and championship become one.
-
Holder was rightly banned and rightlysacked, riders have to be accountable for their actions. He has dropped his level so far now i dont think Poole should have him back. He isnt anywhere near the rider he was and if he refuses to ride at Poole for the track being too scary what then. He is meant to be a professional sportsman, it is about time he acted like one.

Nah we will stuff Belle Vue they're rubbish!

Ritchie would be a big loss as he was terrific last time and Starke isn't riding as well as he was and he isnt the only one who has dropped a bit lately. So expecting a big defeat. -
And now his replacement BWD in the fours got a knock last night so may not ride either, bet Peterborough fans are well chuffed!

No Poole fan would be happy but as we didn't bow down and accept anything the Polish say i expect Poole wouldn't allow it. I assume Torun gave Peterborough a sweetener which is why they want the fans to not moan but when you have one of the meetings of the year and i dare say a meeting many fans look forward to and it is missing the home teams spearhead it cannot be easy to swallow. -
Good display from Swindon although expected them to win and it appears Museliak can ride any track well.Kennett good guest, hope KK misses a few more meetings so his average doesn't go up too much Well done to Barker getting a full minimum!

Apparently Peterborough are quite happy with the arrangement, i wouldn't be happy as a fan though with the home side depleted, BWD has had a good season but he is no Jack Holder. -

When i have seen him at Monmore, he usually has two good rides an average ride and a bad ride, that is what i mean, with his ability he should be getting double figures most weeks. -

Having Worrall in place of Kurtz makes Poole stronger as Worrall was terrific last time as Kurtz has never ridden the track well. Wolves are missing Masters but he can be hit and miss at Monmore so a loss maybe but not a big one as most of their riders apart from the reserves can beat anyone at Wolves, Thorsell is almost unbeatable there, Howarth is having a great season and Schlein has been good too. Looks like a easy win for Wolves to me. -
Good for you, good idea, i dont i couldnt get away without my mobile, my daughter likes to keep in touch which if im honest i like too.

Won't be seeing you this time, on holiday, can't see we will get anything out of this meeting. -
Always liked Crumpie since his Panthers days. You must have felt very spoilt to see Crumpie and Sullivan every week.
-
And you didn't want to go on the forum from Tenerife! Shocking! some people!

True but can't see us running you that close when we can't even win at home at the moment. -

Worrall was our star that day and could be again but a few things went our way that night like Howarth getting injured which was the turning point. -
We don't stand a chance in the play offs should we make it. I am not sure the crowds will be that great either due to Poole's current woeful team.
-
If you can keep him there for the play offs, what a bonus.

To my mind which I think is fair, as in one not hugely biased against Wolves, their track and their supporters, who judging by the ones I have met are very decent, polite people, is that Swindon are now favourites for the title, due to their huge slice of luck with getting Museliak who I am sure has exceeded all expectations, also Bellego who has also exceeded expectations and of course they do have the best rider in the world, good luck to them, they built a team most thought wouldn't make the play offs and now they could win it.
