Great result with a 3 man team. Hope Bates is better at Belle Vue as he was crap tonight, thank heavens Zengota is only temporary! even KK on bad form would have been better, Don't know what was up with Newman, rode better at Leicester.

After Josh G won heat 13 would have thought he was worth a go in heat 15, glad Schlein had the decency to come third in heat 15 after failing in his last two rides at Leicester. Certainly pulled that one out of the bag. Kurtz what a performance.

Whatever you think of the Bates/Klindt argument, we are weakened by not having Andersen or Zengota and although Zengota may not have ridden there before the track would most likely suit him and Andersen is going very well at the moment and is a massive loss and all we have to replace them are Batchelor and r/r!! If we get a point it will be a huge shock, I expect crowd levels will be reduced especially from a Poole perspective.

On the subject of Bates he should be able to beat the Wolves reserves but Bewley may be more difficult at Belle Vue. We shouldn't have ant trouble beating Wolves, Josh G was poor at Leicester, Thorsell rarely goes well at Poole, Masters and Schlein should be ok but the reserves are also poor especially Greaves so a easy win on the cards.

To be honest with Josh G guesting for Freddie that is making Wolves weaker than Bates guesting for us especially as the Wolves reserves are not that good and Bates should beat them both.

I think Klindt has certainly become a good team man and his experience is a vital part of the team, Bates will undoubtedly score well but we will still miss Nicolai.

Yes good shout, rode well at Leicester Saturday and likes the track.

Bates is a decent replacement but I don't think he would score any more than Klindt who has been going very well. Belle Vue is made for Polish riders so I think Zengota would go well but we may never know. Maybe Nick Morris would be a good guest.

Well he wasn't good at Leicester on Saturday, I know he used to ride for Poole but can't help thinking it is a poor guest.

Yes well done Lions on your draw, outgated us in heat 15 as expected as gates 1and 3 were best all night.

Your right as we should have won Schlein started well but faded, Zengota was ok earlier in the meeting but poor later on, Hans rode well apart from heat15. Newman was better later on. Klindt was good overall so an up and down performance especially earlier in the meeting when had gate advantage. For the Lions Nillson, King and Riss rode well, Josh G was poor overall and Smith was ok in one race when he gated and typically Bjerre picks this meeting to come back to form!

Good draw for Leicester but we should have won. A draw snatched from the jaws of victory
