I have always maintained it probably shouldn't have started but in fairness they had done a great job on the track and it was in a raceable condition. How do you think Coventry were looking at it considering they were losing. Coventry riders did not refuse to race heat 9 only heat 10. Everyone knew it would only get to heat 10, as always your trying to make out in some way it was Poole's fault which it wasn't. How does it discredit Poole?

I don't think refusing to race is petty and if they didn't get fined it would open up a whole new can of worms, the amount of the fine another question. The fan always seem to come last unless clubs give discounts for sky meetings and give value for money, perhaps they could discount the programme too as it is rarely good value for money. If clubs are going to continue to produce a programme from a previous meeting with a two page insert then they are only going to make fans annoyed, if programmes were all like the programme at Swindon when Poole were there then there wouldn't be a problem.

But if Gomolski had stayed down it would have been re-run or awarded and the referee would have had to exclude North as a primary cause of the stoppage.

But surely the rider that went down first is the primary cause so he should be excluded and had they stayed down that is what would of happened.

Got all a bit confusing in heat 14 when Dakota North came down and Gomolski laid it down to avoid crashing in to him, they both got up and continued and North but North should have been excluded for the primary cause of the stoppage which he wasn't so that's a point North should have deducted and given to Gomolski. In fairness though they both got up and didn't try to stay down and get a re-run.

Your pessimism is misplaced, easy home win in my view.

I think there are alot of fans who would rather you supported Coventry!! Better team spirit!! There is nothing wrong with poole's team spirit, poole have a terrific spirit, it isn't why we lost last night, that is for sure. Your comments on here only show your lack of knowledge and your continual pessimistic ptedictions are becoming very tiresome.

There were a few fans of Poole there last night and while we would have won without the tac ride it has worked for us in the past and i think it is a good thing to keep meetings closer and i believe it does matter who tops the table as it means you get first pick and also, maybe more importantly it gives you home advantage in the second leg which also means, if you make the final and win, you celebrate at home which in my view is always preferable. The meeting at Monmore Green was a winner for speedway as it was two teams battling for every point and loads of good racing with lots of passing.

The fact that North has dropped over a point from July averages says it all, got rid of the wrong Australian, should have kept Josh G.

Even with Holder and North scoring 6 between them we still could have won, after the tac ride we should not have allowed them to get back in to a winning position but once Roynon had won heat 12 the writing was on the wall.

The meeting as a whole was very enjoyable, some excellent racincouldg and loads of passing on a good, well prepared track. They were worried about the which was probly weather so it went straight through without a interval so got to go home early. As it was it hardly rained at all, i think we had a very light shower but they had obviously had a bit of rain earlier. For the pirates the stand out rider,not surprisingly was Janowski, Watt rode well too as did Gomolski and the reserves, Starke looked very good early on. For Wolves Wells was outstanding, Lindgren and P.K clearly not at their best but battled hard in the vital races, Thorsell rode pretty well too, reserves were a bit off until Roynon got a surprising heat 12 win which was vital to Wolves. All in all a good night out except the result which was in doubt right until the last lap of heat 15 when Holder got alongside Lindgren but couldn't quite manage the pass, this was after Janowski had just managed to get past Wells.

We should have won, we threw it away, Gomolski rode pretty well actually as it was Wolves, a track he isn't known to like too much. How can we drop Holder, you told me he got 14 last time, only needed half of that to win comfortably, you told me Janowski was crap at Monmore and i have said North is out of form, so as usual you know nothing. I also said we will not win the play offs with this 1-5. Good meeting though with lots of passing and re-passing.

Darcy has never said he would want someone to die. So every time Darcy's name is mentioned we are to expect everything he has done wrong or supposed to have done wrong to be brought up to justify what someone else has said, never mind he has served his ban for being over the limit and in the other cases been cleared on any wrongdoing.

Your last statement is defending what boon said, i know he is a friend of yours but those comments were in extremely bad taste and speedway would be far worse without riders like Darcy.

He has always been a pretty decent gater as far as i remember and that can only help, yes he jumps the start now and again but that is also not a bad thing because you rarely get excluded for it, so worse case is a re-run. We should win tonight but probably not as much as predicted because Gomolski won't score many so others have to cover but our reserves should do well although Roynon is a pretty good replacement for Blackbird.

Thats double what Josh got! and he will be better tomorrow i am sure, gp showed Holder and Magic in good form, Newman should clean up at reserve without Blackbird and Starke should beat Bates who only had 3 rides at Peterborough friday, don't know why that was.

It was not a full team, Josh G rode and got 3, i think a gp winner may get more than 3!! P.K and Freddie were riding better than they are now too, Blackbird is currently injured.
