  1. Its rain affected whatever month you have the play offs probably. I am sure Kings Lynn tried hard but with Bjerre in your side you always have the feeling they don't try! although he probably didn't ride in that meeting.
  2. Perhaps Coventry shouldnt have tried so hard to get the track raceable, got the hosepipe out and made it unraceable!
  3. Not meaningless at all, both sides need the points to get first pick which could be vital. Belle Vue could easily still make the play offs so their meeting wasnt meaningless mid table either and it will probably be sunny in october
  4. Not had a good experience with holiday lettings personally as this year i rung them and it was three times the price advertised and they charge a lot for security deposit, found one through late rooms in Cardiff Bay 248 no deposit no extras. sleeps 6. for friday to sunday.
  5. Absolutely correct, the legend Dirty Nicki rode across kildermand and took his front wheel, granted it isn't the worst move i have seen him do at Cardiff but he had to go, obviously i hoped for that to happen as i had a a fair bit of cash each way on Kildermand, my son backed Nicki despite the fact he doesn't like him! and obviously he wasn't happy he got excluded! So happy for Niels when Nicki tried to stop him coming through the gap after Nicki had made a couple of uncharacteristic errors, he certainly moved off line when he saw Niels coming, again opinions divided in my house! was pleased for Niels winning as he is a favourite of mine and although i had a good bet on Tai i was still happy for him. As for Garrity he was out of control over riding most of his race and an accident waiting to happen, surprised Lambert didn't have words.
  6. They have before in fact they took my daughters bottle of still mineral water a couple of years ago
  7. Kings Lynn is a big town and when tv is in town even if it was just a gesture of goodwill to the long suffering home fans then it would be a good thing to do and may just encourage a few more to come
  8. I can see the arguments for not lowering the prices but i feel had the price been reduced last night not only would it look better on tv but it would have brought so many more in it could have made the evening more profitable and the fans would have appreciated the gesture.
  9. I have been searched at Cardiff before and although i can understand not allowing you to bring your own alcohol not being allowed to bring a bottle of water seems ridiculous to me.
  10. Surely you need a sponsor before you can even apply for a visa so he would have to have a team to ride for first before he applied for a visa therefore not entirely his fault.
  11. Oh brilliant, i know we are supposed to be encouraging the younger generation but i expect they were just running around getting in everyone else's view and making alot of noise with no interest at all in what was happening on the track or am i being a miserable old git!!
  12. I wouldn't say that a terrible attendance but definately poor considering the weather, they should offer a reduction for tv meetings, Peterborough didn't either.
  13. Pretty good meeting although only Lamberts heroics in heat 15 and Iversens pass on North saved it as a spectacle, most of the earlier races gate and go. Iversen was poor by his standards and Bjerre was awful. In my opinion after his win in heat 14 Watt should have been in heat 15, North had just come last. Having said that would of definately taken a point before the meeting started.Anyone who was there would have noticed Gomolski fighting for every point, he did well and deserves his place in the team. Where was everybody by the way, lovely sunny evening and a poor crowd, should have been packed, perhaps they should have reduced prices as it was on sky.
  14. Ok i take it back about watt great rides last couple
  15. No chance of a point now what is wrong with holder exactly?
  16. Injuries are part of the sport, any team can get them, King's Lynn are prone to them more than any other team.
  17. I can't see how you won't make the play offs, it would a lot of very strange results.
  18. You wouldn't expect him to get his average away from home, i would of expected 2-3 points away which would maintain his average. I know he didn't score but i would expect 3 tonight and i believe he is capable of that.
  19. With lots of passing on a good safe track, plenty of watering please.
  20. Whatever Rosco says we all know he is riding for the Robins, that should increase the attendance at Blunsdon
  21. Yeah should be a cracker. Surprised your going! i better not be late if your not expecting delays.
  22. It could be my first visit to saddlebow Road where i haven't needed three sweaters, a scarf ,gloves and a coat!! Of course we will haver to wait for the sun to go down! Hope Watt gets more points than he did last time!
  23. I dont where your getting this from ive never said he isnt a top rider, his record is there for all to see but you have to admired and held in high esteem too
