  1. All sport is dictated to by tv, they pay so they rule. If it had been waterlogged it would have been called off. If it wasnt on tv it would have been off and once it started it was never going to be called off before heat 10. If Coventry wanted it off why did they try so hard to get it on.
  2. A lot of people have said it shouldn't have started that is not the issue.
  3. Saw P.K on tv last night looked very poor, don't see changing the riding order will help,Wolves are a team with a few riders off form not just Freddie.
  4. Surely the point about Gomolski is it would be dangerous to consider a change in my view as he is averaging nearly 5 points a meeting and unlikely a 8 point PL rider would manage that, personally the only rider capable of that who could fit is Lasse Bjerre.
  5. Alltogether a disappointing night in Swindon, arrived in slight drizzle but track was in great condition it seemed from my point of view. All the Swindon riders looked good with the exception of Krcmar and i think he is better than he has performed up to now, Batch looked really quick early on, after a couple of problems, Hans looked ok, Wright and Zengota were terrific, Darcy was the best rider on show but we all expected that, SCB said he hoped he got 8 or less but that was never going to happen. As for Poole well they were all fairly poor with the possible exception of Newman, Holder was awful for him, Janowski wasn't the rider he has been this season, Watt only rode well once as did Gomolski although Watts problems could have been mechanical as Newman looked slow on his bike and then it broke down,Starke had a massive crash and after that was probably feeling the effects so no blame on him, North just isn't the rider he was earlier in the season, don't know why. So all in all a bad day but this team is better than tonight's showing and although a change or two may be in the pipeline we will make the play offs and better performances are round the corner. I said at the start of the season Watt and North will let us down and although they have surprised me at different times, i still feel they have the potential to let us down when it matters.
  6. Can't get rid of Gomolski, he is a 3 point rider riding above his average and there is no one on his average any better, Krcmar proved that and Kacper did win a race.
  7. No, just coming for an enjoyable entertaining meeting in Blunsdon, win or lose if it's a good meeting i will return to Dorset happy.
  8. Personally i think many will view Darcy as a plonker however he conducts his life because he does come across a bit arrogant and he will always have the potential to say the wrong thing on camera!
  9. I think this will be a close one, just a shame Swindon can't field a full team with Nick Morris out but Hans is coming back to form so may not be a big loss to them. All our riders like riding at the Abbey so should provide a good entertaining meeting.
  10. Better value than 10 heats for 18 quid!! Us pirates don't mind we love a wet track!!
  11. Never heard of alcoholic coke, i suppose we are going to have to put up with this sort of inane comment every time his name is mentioned as some who clearly dont like him dont want to give him a chance of proving he has matured but just want to slate him at every opportunity.I am looking forward to seeing him ride tonight and hope he has a good meeting, although not too good!
  12. He was very poor at Leicester last time for Poole so don't expect too much but you never know he could click and get a hatful.
  13. He doesn't need to justify it, he may give reasons why he has had to do it, for the good of the team, putting up crowd levels and i doubt very much that Ward's average will change much.
  14. It shows Howarth is out of form so any team would drop him, Jonsson is on the downward slope, he is not the rider he was and unlikely to be a GP rider for much longer.
  15. Should be a walk in the park with Milik providing the most excitement, AJ seems a shadow of his former self and will Wilko score any points at all, Ellis should score a few though.
