If Wells and Riss stay at Edinburgh, only Richie, Klindt and Nick Morris left out of top riders from last year assuming Barker and Wright at Redcar, Cook will be announced at Glasgow. only Birmingham and Newcastle could take them and maybe Leicester ( not sure but thought Richie would be with his ex boss ) not many options left so maybe the 2 pointer bit may not be an option time will tell

Looking around other teams and rumours at this stage Wright Barker Stewart Palm Toft could be heading your way which would suggest not enough room for both of the Danish brothers

Nick wasn’t up for it, pulled up after first bend, did not look to work on bike before next ride. Spoke to ref after his 2nd ride but was told to continue. Won his next one but then got caught up in first bend bunching a few times in his next and pulled out. Ellis and Pickering both rode well. Alfie tried to hard in wrong conditions to overtly. Prague will definitely be on the list next year.Just awaiting exact date. You need to be there live to enjoy it best, was miles better live than on tv. Nice atmosphere and great surroundings and I like to watch the riders chase the set up needed for the latter stages.

The truth is when a good gating rider of any standard rides the right line at Brough or most other circuits in the championship it is now very hard to pass them if you make the gate you can bank on 3 or 2 points, miss the gate and it’s a 1or a zero. All on here have a long list of riders they want back at the club who have all turned their back on the diamonds and gone for richer pickings elsewhere. The choices available Have riders who want to ride at Newcastle ( yes pls ) Overpay those who don’t care ( can’t afford it ) Don’t have any speedway ( no thanks ). If George needs every single one of the hardcore fans and there are not enough to fund the club on their own, to pull together and accept top half may be a stretch too far to get him to continue, I hope he doesn’t read this forum. You only have to look at who is left unsigned and available to see that a top half finish is not going to happen this year.

You already have Rory, Harris, Richie W, Sarg, Kerr, just reserves to sort.

And also on Edinburgh twitter Start in April and finish end of Aug and that is 22 Sunday’s to fit in 14 fixtures with poss 2play offs but Sep and Oct give 9more Sunday’s and poss 2 more KO cup So 31 Sunday’s to fit in 18 meetings means no continuity in my eyes and a rider will struggle to survive on 28 guaranteed fixtures.

Steve and Richie sorted elsewhere. Would like Rene in there somewhere Might be hard for only 10 league, 3 trophy and 1KOcup match to attract riders who do not double up.
