  1. Evidence is there. 3 meetings apiece this year. At Wolves we won by 10 in the ES, lost by 4 in the A and won by 7 in the B. At Poole we lost by 26 in the ES, lost by 2 in the A and lost by 3 in the B. Poole have won 4 of the fixtures to Wolves 2. Poole would be clear favourites over 2 legs.
  2. Sadly if Poole make the play offs and get Wolves then I fear Poole could still make the final.
  3. He didn't have a choice did he?? None of the riders will go against the Polish authorities. And it makes no difference if the club's do either. They take no notice. I see Jack Holder is regularly missing meetings for Peterborough despite Poole saying they refused to give him permission. Poland will have first call on him next year that's for sure.
  4. Contrary to the one man belief you will only ever find one account.
  5. I agree they don't exactly help themselves. League fixtures are nearly completed before the play offs (yes even our sport has introduced them!). It was their last home league match on Sunday but still host the kids championships on Saturday 26th. And host the women's league match on Sept 24th. British cycling usually has all the dates for all matches tho. We were talking about the cycle speedway team not the Lions!
  6. Read it how you like. His British club had priority, the Poles completely ignored that. At least the BSPA ensured that his British club weren't penalised.
  7. Maybe, maybe not. Personally it isn't the Monday that's the issue. Hardly any top boys want to come here anymore because of A) too many different race nights too many meetings. No one night is better than another under the current structure IMHO. Plus I doubt British speedway will change to assist more riders coming over, mores the pity.
  8. Great point for the boys, only the play off counts when hopefully Masters and Riss are back to lead our play off hopes. Riss looked great tonight at Birmingham practising.
  9. It's not. Freddie never misses a match for Wolves, nor Jacob. Tai never had an issue albeit for a week of tiredness back in 2014. Monday has never been an issue. Zagar rode Mondays for the Aces before they moved too. Monday is a more than viable option.
  10. Aaah you must have meant the Elite League that they pulled out of about 5 seasons ago. That competition no longer runs first time this year in favour of region against region top flight racing. Not the same at all. Be great to see you there some time!
  11. Can't think of an incident he has 'misjudged' this season.
  12. been the same one for many a year. Rode there on Sunday! I'm looking forward to the 26th too. Got quite a few of our kids riding in it. Depends what you class top division Gem. They have a midland top flight team and all the names you mentioned are all still 1st teamers!Although we beat them at Slater Street on Sunday, not bragging like.
  13. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Post after post non of it about the meeting. No change.
  14. I'll be working. But one thing is for sure, you will be on your paper round.
  15. Oops, fair point! We are missing Riss, however he has been temporarily replaced so we are only missing one rider.
  16. Number 5's ride with a reserve in every heat bar heat 13. Crazy to keep RR at 5.
  17. Nice to see you have provided a meaningful comment on the subject. Although I imagine you must be still in shock from last Wednesday annihilation. Plus the usual like from the forum poster who makes regular fun of people's medical issues. Always nice to know some posters really are as repugnant as they actually come across. Comforting at least. Anyway, hopefully the thread will remain on topic.
  18. Both teams at full strength. RR stays at 5 which is still wrong IMHO. Always a Joy to watch Lambert who is great value at Monmore. Looking forward to seeing THJ at Monmore, can't remember the last time he rode at Wolves? Still think he is vastly overrated but be interesting to see how he gets on. Jorgensen I thought was Wolves bound a few seasons and seemed to have stagnated at middle tier level. Has shown that he has been a little Star for the Stars. RR means we remain susceptible if the Stars are up for it. We should be okay for a 8-10 point home win. Thoughts?
  19. As if it's not a big enough kick in the teeth to the fans who have supported but to hit out at a country that has supported you throughout your career it's an utter disgrace. Darcy always had his excusers who to them never did anything wrong. The minority tho I'd say.
  20. He had little thought for the fans when he made his damning post. Yet again he has done something then thought after. If he had thought before reacting he might not have come across so silly. British speedway did a lot for his career. He now says "F**k British Speedway I'm not supporting British Speedway anymore". Well the tweet he now is trying to explain and grovel about did. its clear what he meant. Don't piddle on a league that's helped your career .......and rehabilitation. damage is done I'm afraid.
  21. Wolves should priority on the dates. The other team are only lodgers.
