  1. It's his dreadful scores that aren't welcome. You heard yourself on Monday that he had a good reception. Sadly his promising start to the season isn't showing up since he joined us.
  2. I'd say 8 other championship teams would be happy to swap places with the Ipswich team tho!
  3. Thought Howarth 2nd 'flyer' was just a really good gate. Although I expected both to be pulled back.Great to meet you and Shaleshifter as well. I knew you would be way out with your prediction. No real surprise in the result. Missing Masters was always going to make it difficult in the later stages as it proved. 5 points from RR proved the huge difference as he hasn't scored anything remotely as low as that at Monmore this year. The 8-1 gave the Pirates some hope and with Rory out of heat 12 gave them real hope of getting something out the match. Rory looked like he came down after the contact not as a result of it so no issue with the exclusion. Heat 15 seemed an odd choice of pairing for the Pirates, why no Hans who pushed Freddie hard in the 13th??? As good as ensured they would return home pointless. Took a while to get the track producing some close racing however we had some good scraps later on as the track started to deliver. Entertaining meeting even if not a classic. WOLVES FRED- the track worked against him in heat 6 as he couldn't generate enough speed to catch Kennett. His only blemish tho. 4.5/5 KYLE - looked slower than usual in his first 2 then started to deliver with a couple of flyers thrown in. 3.5/5 RORY- very up and down night. At times looked to have loads of speed, other times looked to have lost his bottle on the opening bend. Hope he is okay after his fall. 2/5 JACOB - his heat 7 blemish due to a dropped chain on his first bike was in a different class. 4.5/5 RR - scored 5 points. Huge weakener as expected. ELLIS - made great effort in heat 11 for 2 laps chasing Hans but still can't ride Monmore and is the weak reserve of the pair, something he wasn't signed for. 0.5/5 NATHAN - is definitely getting better and gaining in confidence. Scored in every race and beat his opposite number 100%. Job done. He is having to carry Ellis at the moment. 2/5 POOLE Andersen - seemed to play a more supporting role although stood up as a number one in heat 13. 2.5/5 RR - scored 10 points so was well covered. Holder - besides heat 12 was largely invisible. 1.5/5 Lahti - had 2 good wins and average other than that. 3 /5 Kennett - had his best meeting at Wolves for about 3 years. 3.5/5 Starke - always a good scorer at Monmore 3.5/5 Shanes - can't ride Wolves, pure and simple. 0/5
  4. Mark is Co team manager and named in programme.
  5. the BSPA statement lays the blame with Peterborough, rightly so. Sensible statement it was too!
  6. Peterborough make their own decisions. It's up to them what they do. It may affect Poole but that's nothing for the BSPA to get involved in. Different circumstance, as discussed on another thread.
  7. That's a issue between Poole and Peterborough then. Nothing to do with the rules being the same.
  8. Odd comment fb. Of the 12 home matches he has scored double figures (including paid double points ) 6 times. 50%. Of those he didn't he scored 9 three times and 8 twice! I'd say that is pretty consistent! ! Post 72 explains it perfectly.
  9. Masters has a home average of 8.53, not sure where you got hit and miss from. His last few visits have been pretty poor I agree, however he is still 10 times better than KK at Monmore.
  10. Close then. He certainly had decent averages throughout Europe as well, without doubt his best ever season. I'd agree over here he seems to be close to that this season.
  11. 3rd in averages. So Freddie can't take a ride. No easy cover at all, not when a reserve has to take one of his rides, Poole get lucky for a 2nd time.
  12. Looks like Poole are set for another slice of luck at Monmore. A big loss if true.
  13. I thought he had one year when he was on fire everywhere and had an average over 9?
  14. Time will tell of course. I've never brought this 'Poole aren't very good at Monmore' stance. I've seen too many Poole wins to ever be that confident. On paper Poole are out of form that much is true.
  15. Absolutely. Fully agree with that. And anything can happen in a meeting.
  16. And totally hilarious when you see the awful accidents at the real horror tracks like Poole and Leicester not to even mention the wobblers at Cardiff on and over course Kings Lynn (according to Troy and Holder). Still its good to see the nonsense usual response.
  17. That is real. Poole won at Wolves a few weeks ago. You would have to be barking mad to suggest it will be a walkover. Perhaps have a bit of faith, no Poole fan thought they would get any points a few weeks ago at Monmore.
  18. Anybody is an improvement on KK. Wolves win by 4.
  19. They must be interested because they took up the rights for the World Cup that SKY didn't have for several years.
  20. Well that was easier than I expected. Somerset have been dreadful at Monmore twice now. Don't think I've ever been so bored at a Wolves meeting before. No fight, no effort. Very poor. Maybe Wolves were just on fire as well. Worst crowd of the season, worst match at Monmore in a long time. Wolves FRED - only Heeps got close surprisingly but looked very quick too. 5/5 KYLE - how we have missed his contribution. Barely touched till heat 15 and even then rode hard and determined to get his paid max 5/5 MOTM RORY - untouchable until heat 12 when he got out gated and then when chasing lost further ground by getting out of shape on bend 4. 4/5 JACOB - never looked like being touched. 5/5 SAM - who would have known he had a big crash yesterday? 2 quick heats. 3.5/5 ELLIS - I was ready to say he is clueless at Monmore but then picked himself up after an awkward fall in heat 14, out battled Kerr and then set after Hougaard. 1/5 NATHAN - he only scored in heat 2 but was battling in the other heats. Still the better reserve. 1.5/5 Rebels Lawson - dreadful. Only beat perks. 0.5/5 Heeps - got better and quicker as the match went on. 2.5/5 Wright - disappointing. Didn't really look that interested either. 1.5/5 Hougaard - good when he gated which was once. 2/5 Allen - at least looked interested and rode well. Deserved more rides.3/5 Kerr - beat only reserves. Hardly remembered any of his heats he was that nondescript. 1.5/5 Grajczonek was a miss, thru injury in Poland.
  21. Lindgren is in the Twilight of his career??? Really? I suggest you look at this season to see he is riding better than ever at the highest level, and not even at his peak IMHO. Seems fair to me too.
  22. Tonight was never in the TV scheduling released from BT. Radio Times must have messed up.
  23. You would think he has been riding well everywhere else this year! !
  24. Thanks, hadn't seen that yet. Dodgy either way then.
  25. I'm not sure if I've made that clear in the past.
