  1. Absolutely correct. Both are doing the business big time.
  2. Absolutely, stunning. And people say we don't have young riders good enough to step up!
  3. Absolutely no chance Chris would risk losing his place in Poland. MF absolutely correct in telling the Poles to do one over Jack who has yet to even establish himself over there. It would be Chris telling Matt to do one if he said he was going to jeopardise his place in Poland. Don't kid yourself anything else! Barker absolutely useless so far. Edit... just got a battling point. Wasn't he meant to be an inspired guest?
  4. In fairness MF had a point because the Poles wanted to use him as an up and coming rider. However he is no comparison to the top guys that work here. MF would have signed it if Chris was riding for you this season, no question about that.
  5. They do FB. Robert is RR so counts as he is named in the line up. Simon is the other one. Isn't the rule about having 2 riders eligible from the NL. British yes but the likes of BWD also rode NL so I'm assuming he counts too?? (BWD as a Kiwi although not in either line up tonight).
  6. well said. exactly. Some people need to be careful what they wish for. seeing as the Poles are dictating the rules everyone else has to tow the line. It's completely unacceptable that the Poles wee over us when WE have the priority. No British team should have to suffer under those conditions. Interesting turn of events isn't it!
  7. Ditto every foreign rider that rides here and in Poland. Not one of them will go against the Polish authorities.
  8. Really doesn't matter about the averages of those below the number one. Only the top averaged has to ride at number. The other 4 can ride at any other number in the top 5.
  9. Poland do what they want and are allowed to get away with it.
  10. it was live so nothing edited out,the papers usually use asteriks for swearing.
  11. He had the biggest cheers all night. Funny that, interviewed in the main newspapers and several times on TV leading up to and during the evening and not one swear word. The media clearly only want to talk to him, not even the reigning champion. Thank god we have someone like Woffy trying to bring our sport some proper press.
  12. Think he would personally score similar at 5 and seeing as he has been moved to that role now he will maintain his scores and continue his more improved away form. But yes rr is better for him tomorrow.
  13. Thorssell scored 11 Monday from number 5. Tougher away tho I grant you. Obviously rr for Kyle would be game over.
  14. didn't he just. The crowd made him proud. yaaaawn. .....predictable boring post. Without question. the track cost him a semi place. Very quick otherwise. perhaps you needed to turn the sound up. Was deafening. glad you edited the unsavoury reply. Lovely story. However back in the real world Tai received the biggest cheers all night and proves yet again that Cardiff love their British double world champion. Shame the track ruined his semi hopes.
  15. You really need to check your figures before you make comments like that. His away average is 7.38 and has scored double figures and top scored on several occasions. With no Kyle or Jacob and a guest this has home banker all over it. I'd planned to come up for this one until I found out the Polish authorities are yet again messing with our plumb fixtures.
  16. Managed to watch the meeting late last night. It's a shame the track cut up and ruined the night for several riders. There was some insane on track action tho. I could have sworn some were saying Woffy isn't that popular with the British public anymore. Cardiff loved their British legend. Quite possibly the most popular British rider of the modern era. Delighted that he proved his doubters wrong. Another victim of the horror track.
  17. How boring that the Belle Vue troll is still trying to take over the Wolves thread.
  18. Awkward one this. Richie is easily the better option but is still already a 28 day replacement himself ! I made up his away form was dreadful? ? still lying?
  19. Don't think I agree with it tho! At least the rules on new signings is clear......... nobody new after 31st July.
  20. Kennett rode for Mildenhall 2001 so that covers Ed.
  21. It's a rule that the BSPA will adapt to suit quite possibly. I'm not sure you can be deemed available for transfer particularly when you are still under contract to another club who get to use the facility for that rider for the time specified. Unless of course Kings Lynn release him and sign a replacement before 31st July. But hey, it's British speedway. Anything is possible!
  22. That's one. Who will be your 2nd? Shanes?
