  1. So in other words the riders are the polish clubs b*tches. Guess they really do pay the piper. I'm hoping at least one big name rebels.
  2. That's assuming the riders will adhere to the bully boy tactics of the Poles.
  3. Why would it? Surely Doyle also rides in both leagues too?
  4. Darcy is entitled to his opinion, can't say it means anything at all to the top flight. Bit foot in mouth if he suggesting not supporting the top flight if he wants to run a meeting at a club he has a long association with. However it's not the first time and won't be the last he makes such a flammable post.
  5. Even on 10.09 it would take a superb season for him to achieve that anyway but dependant on how many more of the top boys are back will depend on how much competition he would have. has to be top priority particularly given Jacob is on a high 9.
  6. fast Freddie hopefully. But I'd prefer Thorssell over Hans anyway. Back to the traditional race formats all the heat leaders averages should increase comfortably. Can't see Hans getting close to 10 but will increase his season end average for 2016. yet more blatant lies. 2016 EL averages don't apply for next season. If the new averages are used for team building then that IS there starting average. Hans 7.15 reflects his ability under the previous race format, that has nothing to do with the 10.01 average he starts on in 2017 assuming he is back of course. With the traditional race format now back Hans will increase on 7.15 as will all heat leader standard riders. WHEN his average is reduced later in the season we can get a truer reflection of a likely new average. Dress it as you want. Hans starting average is 10.01. 7.15 is now redundant. That's talking cr@p again of course. It's a multi daily occurrence sadly.
  7. Good news for the rest of the teams with hans back at Poole on a 10 average.
  8. Now we have the excellent news that THE world's best rider of the year is returning to the top flight in 2017 can we please have fast Freddie back pretty please Mr CVS? ?
  9. Absolutely superb news that Doyle is back in the top flight. At least that should silence the doom mungers who said that the top riders aren't riding here in 2017. Fast Freddie at Wolves next please.
  10. Rubbish in the play offs but did his job the rest of the year. Only one team won when it mattered, the best.
  11. Only Starman would tell a poster to go and post on his own thread and then do exactly the same thing. priceless.
  12. Gater1 is known to make stuff up to invent an excuse. He has been caught out several times yesterday in blatant lies. Would that be for Poole to get the benefit or for the good of the sport I wonder? My money is on the former.
  13. Sorted. I hope bachelor continues his dreadful slide in form and that wouldn't surprise me.
  14. What on earth are you on about?? Stop making stuff up. Quote me the post where I said Poole should sign Ellis? ? You won't find it is the answer. Personally I'd rather have Ellis than someone like Bjerre or Batchelor or Watt or Schlein and that's not for Poole to sign, that an unbiased point if we had the chance to sign any of those 5 riders I'd prefer Ellis who is very much on the up unlike the other 4. I don't hate Poole but it's convenient for biased fans to use that line when debating anything Poole related. I guess that shows the narrow point of view you can debate with. Any rider who has done well that's finds himself out of a job at that club is going to feel harshly treated but it seems if you are Poole you can't point that out without attacking their club. Every rider is on an inflated average who rode EL this season. So everyone of those riders is unlikely to achieve that mark. And if you really think that Batchelor is on a bargain average good luck to you. Why do you think I prefer that wolves would sign Ellis over Batchelor? Nothing to do with Poole by the way, no doubt you will conveniently ignore that part as you continue on your blue tint way. Conveniently ignored by Gater1 who yet again makes most things up.
  15. That's what the haters say yes. But wrong obviously.
  16. It just gives the kind of result I would expect.
  17. I'm not quite sure how to put this to you in a way you might understand but as of yet we haven't declared any riders for 2017. as for signing British riders and helping them develop..... you must have forgot the double world champion. easy mistake to make I guess. loving the sympathy. Fair play CR another anomaly with no common sense applied. Part of me hopes he rewards Leicester by staying but on his average he must be a likely at his parent club.
  18. As expected yet another anomaly exploited by a promotion. Brady started the season as a declared EL rider and not a PL rider. He is lucky that he did double up later in the season otherwise he would be saddled with an average that be difficult to get a place with. Still, it's great news the new rules look after an Aussie and potentially penalise a Brit tho eh?
  19. Yes 7.17 from 2014 with Somerset. Victor might be worth a gamble as well, has experience of Swedish top flight.
  20. The sides you suggest do have an even look about them I agree. However I doubt a team would be built that poorly in the top flight (watch me be shown up on that one!). Everyone says how poor Leicester were this year yet beat the PL runners up Sheffield home AND away in inter league challenges earlier in the season. I will still maintain nothing will be different in 2017!
  21. Hopefully some club will take a chance. He had a brilliant season. Fully understand why he is worried but he really should have been in the PL not the NL. I'm sure some clubs might be considering using him. I'd welcome him at Wolves. Depends how the team is built, lots of riders on 7's and 8's.
  22. Every season we have the same topic brought up and it's often the same outcome if inter league matches happen. No doubt we will revisit this when the championship team get stuffed home and away in the relegation meetings.
  23. I think it's clear what I'm saying. A 2nd tier team won't beat a 1st team tier.
