Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
stevebrum replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
The answer was yes, it's just the troll that keeps trying to keep the (non) argument going. -
Robert72 Is Not Rob Homer

Back step on what!? Find me the post with me saying that. 100% fact you won't find it. Why? Because I have never said that. Find me the post where I claim it, then you can call me a liar. Otherwise you are just a troll and bigot. come on then, it's there isn't it? It's easy to prove me wrong isn't it? I will wait for the quoted post of me claiming you are Rob Homer. I will be waiting. something else to add to your made up world. There is no proof you are an ex rider because despite many requests by many (not me, I don't believe a word you say) you have failed to provide any evidence of this. 2 nil to Brum. Must try harder troll. -

sorry? I haven't claimed you were anyone at all. Getting me confused I reckon. The only thing I have called you is a troll, that's all I have claimed you are. I don't believe a word you come out with and you certainly aren't a former rider of any note. The reason you haven't said who you are or meant to be is irrelevant. You are just an attention seeker and you live only for replies. And being a bigot. He won't, trolls don't because they are cowards. And in his case a bigot. -
The stars need to go on an almighty run to have a sniff of a chance to make the play offs and if they are in that good form would be favourites for the title come September. It's highly unlikely tho I'd say.

It's amusing that anyone is even trying to get the troll and bigot to own up to actually being anything that he claims to be. A fantasist at best. But no doubt he will eventually post ignoring all the polite requests .... -
I can't see why not. It's for any new rider to the UK this year, which Kacper is.

Comfortable win for the Pirates against one of the leagues worst teams. -

I just hope we haven't peaked. We need to be winning at full strength tho. -

Only just got in so shocked to see the scoreline and when Clegg top scores you know something is truly wrong. Schlein as expected is way short on fitness but that doesn't excuse the poor performances from the rat - bar Max. -

We need to book more average PL riders and replace the rest then -
Coventry V Poole. 15/07/2016 Elb
stevebrum replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Pedersen has been on the decline for years and last season proved that when he struggled to make a 4 point average at Leicester, although some Poole apologists were pointing to the fact there were personal issues last year but he is still a dependable rider. In reserve he can struggle but still score double figures which I fully expect him to most matches. It's no surprise he has ended up in reserve and whilst some promoters are quick to point out all that is wrong with the EDR riders moving up they voted it thru. Lessons learned should be to spent more time thinking, planning and discussing the future and rules before voting on these things. THEY are the ones that enabled this mess to happen so stop bleating about how wrong it all is and concentrate on voting for the RIGHT rules in seasons to come so you won't look so foolish once the season starts and the flaws they missed start occurring. -

Missing Sam is a huge blow although he struggled last time he has been rock solid consistent all season. Rory as a guest is a big gamble giving how tentative he was on his comeback so I'm not expecting too much although as a guest in the past he has always given us 110%. Can't see us getting anything from this and rr for the Hammers is less of blow than Masters given that they can replace with good home track riders. 52-41 -

King is EL standard. That's 3 out of 7 as that's how many ride in a meeting. just less than 50%, 43%. -

Not with Harris and KK you don't. -
You aren't allowed a guest for a rider racing in a non speedway meeting. I cannot believe a guest was booked in the first place! Zack Wajtknecht of Birmingham rode in the same meeting as Adam and Birmingham were granted RR, however the rules are enforced less stringently in the NL which I believe there should be more leniency in what is effectively a development league.

Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
stevebrum replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
He has mentioned that the foul mouthed never in the wrong Nicki Pedersen is the ultimate professional. He probably condones swearing from him but not by Tai. -
Yes of course, because every kid that makes it to Tai's level will ditch Britain and we will have GP's with all British riders Missing the point as always and attacking someone for the way they look. Bigot. Tai is the only certainty in team GB and rightly so. It would be like USA riding the World Cup without Greg, not a chance and an embarrassment. But then your stance on Tai is an embarrassment.

Nor has several of the riders who are heard swearing regularly and being apologised for on live TV. Bob Geldof is still seen as a legend to many thru his campaigning work yet still swears live on TV to get a point across. -
However reaching the very pinnacle of his chosen sport is a perfect role model. Choosing what he didn't achieve a school and the way he looks are the actions of a bigot. Tai IS a role model to young riders and kids and they have no issue with all those things you mentioned - plus they probably aren't bigoted either.
