No disagreement from me. Bates is the better rider in the EL/UK. Given how strong the juniors are in Poland it's a decent achievement however it's irrelevant given it wasn't a team competition.

Bates is doing decent progress this year at both levels so I'm baffled why anyone is questioning his season or potential. If he is doing so poorly how come a certain Pole with potential has ended up at reserve in a dreadful team with the weakest reserves? Woryna has showed some ability this year but lacks any consistency. To be a reserve in one of the 2 weakest teams this season has to be seen as a failure on his behalf. It's irrelevant if he scored 21 points in Poland in the week, that may indicate he has some potential for the biggest speedway nation. Back to the UK, he has been woefully exposed in the EL. Bates without question is having a better EL season than Woryna.

best read more widely. It's not at all odd that a lot of riders enjoy riding at monmore. It probably has something to do with it being well prepared. Still boring on with this I see. lots of things are 'odd' in speedway. The rules for one, plus a high profile meeting being called off at the national stadium because the track was known to be not ready for racing. Even the national stadium has races when people fall off, get over it. It makes diddly squat if some tracks have more fallers than others because there can be many reasons for that happening. To try and make more of it is just trouble causing. It's clear you subscribe to the latter. Perhaps you can provide us all with some stats on which tracks have the most falls and wobblers (you have an obsession with that word) versus track conditions versus weather conditions versus league standard. I'm sure someone equally as odd as you will be as interested, it might give you something to do with your time.

well summarised Fourentee. Plus hopefully to ride more at amateur level. A level I'm fine with and pretend it to be anything else. He hasn't, I have. I am more than happy to be lapped by him if as he claims he is a 'former' rider. It's quite clear he is full of dog doo, a liar or scared to race me. Let's face it - it's one of those options. We all know he has no intention of showing proof to something that doesn't exist. A fantasist of the highest order.

Good to read the other side of the argument in tonight's programme at Birmingham. Seems it's okay for Kent to mess about sending out mascots and running one race in half hour but not if it means the away team expecting some time for riders doing 2 on the trot. I'm sure Birmingham did indeed stretch the time allowed to the maximum in the latter stages, however the home team weren't running a match like there was a curfew period. Lesson learned, if you are going to mess about with the time at the start of a meeting, don't blame the opposition if they do the same, simples!
