  1. Ash is already our 2nd tier 2 rider so I'd imagine yes. PK finished on 5.51 last season. Bech is 6.48. So yes !!
  2. It is, however Howarth has been superb too. Bech has been the weak link. Just goes to show how the averages have been totally messed up. What a farce was that race? Why would the ref turn off the 2 minutes?? What a heat 14 - where are the Lindgren is past it brigade? ?? Strangely quiet.
  3. I have, I wasn't referring to this year as I've already stated that the past 2 seasons have been poor by its usual high standards.
  4. excellent post but I'd imagine Stoke Potter would still disagree. Again another excellent post and much more depth than the bigger is better one.
  5. It's a joke surely comparing any track of size that hasn't yet had a meeting run on. I'm looking forward to visiting and taking pride in a national stadium tho. There is no need for jealousy when you have a race track that probably gives better entertainment than most in the UK so if there is any cheap shot it's your last sentence.
  6. I never got what others saw in what was obviously a poor team on paper. In saying that most had Wolves down as also rans.
  7. What I have got is that you consider in general that bigger tracks offer a better racing spectacle. I didn't say I completely disagree with that . However I maintain that so long as track prep is paramount then racing is likely to be as good as at any track. And I still maintain I'd pick watch racing at Monmore over every track. Good that you mention the new Belle Vue track as an example as to why it's better than the Wolves track already - that's the track that they can't get fit to race on yea?? Shame, you were doing so well until that last ridiculous claim. (Perhaps when the track has had a couple of years racing on I might take it seriously before you make another claim like that)
  8. you said levelling all things up (assuming all tracks are equal, preparation wise I assume not to mention stadium upgrades ) that the spectacle will always be better on a bigger track. Have I got it? I assumed I had all along. I'm not asking you to agree with me as your agreement isn't required. I'm just stating a fact that I have seen as good a racing at Monmore as I've seen anywhere. And if I had to pick watching racing at only one track I'd pick Wolves every time. Who mentioned only one track as an example ? Just you of course. The Polish tracks are some of the best in the world yet I have watched some live streamed meetings from Poland that lack the 'spectacle' you claim comes with every big track. You argument started realistically but you have now turned it into a farce with this silly comparison. Torun is a wonderful stadium and track but as I live in England it isn't an option for me to watch matches live there on a weekly basis. As you previously stated if all things were equal then Monmore would have an equally as good stadium as Torun so I think I'd be more than happy with that. No doubt I still haven't 'got it' because my answer is different to yours.
  9. Don't really think I was missing your point however if you equal things up I've seen equally as good racing at Monmore as I've seen at any track in the country so I have to disagree with you on that point.
  10. Watt is an EL rider whilst Cook has been a double upper till this season. I've no issue ensuring British riders get rides in both leagues, that's the least we should be doing to help any home rider. As for Watt, he might want to drop down (I don't know if true) to earn more money or because his EL days are over (it's only his 'personal issues' that appear to be affecting him not his ability to mix it in the EL) however the rules don't allow him too. I wouldn't like the rules altered that help none British riders however as that would be plain crazy.
  11. Gotta give it to Craig for trying to push his career onwards by trying to get contracts abroad a dc what a shame they aren't giving him any meetings. He has no choice to go back to the PL to earn money and I'm sure he knows it's a backward step. But what else is the lad to do? He has an established PL average from last year so I see no issue and thank god we aren't blocking him from moving back down because then we are punishing someone for trying to move their career forward. How wrong would that be? Thank god for British riders like Craig who actually wants to progress instead of the safe option of staying doubling up/down.
  12. Ooops, how could I forget Somerset! Edited my original post.
  13. Disagree, if the track prep isn't good racing will be poor. Best racetracks IMHO Peterborough, Scunthorpe, Somerset, Wolves. Well prepared tracks the biggest reason.
  14. Like I said preparation is key, so no, dust in opening race is not good at any track regardless of size or shape.
  15. Nothing wrong with 'smaller' tracks. That's why wolves win best race track the majority of seasons. Preparation is key not size.
  16. So talk over now that Wolves are the new favourites. Poole have proved they remain title favourites. Disappointing result given how weak Poole were but Howarth was a huge let down. Still he has starred in our others wins so it's proof how much of an influence he is having on the side so far. Wolves unbeaten tag gone and the titles favourite tag passed back to where it belongs. Well done to the Pirates on the victory all the same.
  17. The way Tai looks has not affected his life and ability and is the best in his field. Argument ended. Carry on trolling , we all know what you're about now.
  18. problem is you don't get the fact that you are the one attacking. A troll who attacks someone for the way they look. What a disgrace. And I bet you actually believe that. Beyond laughable. You have been asked for facts which time and again you fail to ignore. What is clear is that you are a trouble making troll. Time to put this nonsense on ignore.
  19. Aaah diddums, does no one like your ickle wikle posts then. That's possibly a huge clue me thinks. Doubt there is much more to say, you have been proven wrong time and time again and when asked for facts you can't back them up. You don't like Tai or people with tattoos, WE GET IT. Time to move it on before you bore the forum to death with your one line Tai attack. I just hope someone closes or locks this thread . He ain't coming back to the EL this season so what's the point carrying it on.
  20. It's only him that's making sense apparently, must be nice being in a closed off world where you can't see the rest laughing at your posts. Comedic value that hasn't been seen on the forum for a while so good to tune in for a titter. Still waiting for all these facts to be proven right so maybe I will have to wait till Robert Lambert turns 40 for that to happen tho.
  21. I've edited the post for the main part to reply but wanted to add a good well balanced response. However i don't think there is any question if he wants to be British as it's his clear choice. I don't get the issue some have with his 'actions ' at the Oz GP. Why shouldn't he have pride riding as world Champion in the country he was raised? ? The place where his hero (his late father) helped make him what he is today, and where he will have lots of happy memories of growing up and probably where he feels most attached to his dad? Personally i think some are very harsh for criticising him for that. He has given no indication he wants to ride for the Aussies so why the questioning! ! Not a direct reply to you Nick, just those who question his motives so isn't intended as a personal repsonse to you.
