He did add with a couple of changes things should be good, either a clue or a hope!

Troy Batchelor confirmed he is back 18th May. Just confirmed on sky.

Looks like past riders might be past their best in more ways than one. Confirmed tonight on SKY that Belle Vue have been given the green light. Oh well, hopefully lunch was better than the gossip.

Could Woffy Be Making An El Return?
stevebrum replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
You clearly don't read my posts. There is no bigger critic of Tai than me. I gave him a hard time after letting Wolves down in 2014, don't agree that he isn't riding in the British Final and think he should pick EL over say Sweden. Unlike you I can see a bigger picture with Tai and British Speedway. Nothing Tai does would please you as you are a clear Tai hater. I'm happy to be able to see the bigger picture, something you fail to be capable of. Plus it's laughable that you say I make excuses for Tai, just goes to show you know very little. -
If this lunch involved no nothings who claim to know something via gossip (which seems about 95% assumption anyway) then it's hardly something to be concerned about.

We don't have a good PR person and if we did and the sport was run professionally then Tai (and other top riders) might still be here. You need to switch your anger to those running it not any one rider as you now have a good explanation why Tai and the rest don't ride here. My guess is you're comeback will be anti Tai however, predictably I may add. Just remember we DON'T have a good PR person as you suggest so it makes his reason for not riding here a logical one - using you're example of course. -
But you can't re-introduce a sacked rider until a month later. Which is fair.

Of course there were picks. Not all riders are assets of EL clubs so there had to be some picks. -

British speedway is in a mess and the BSPA aren't helping. -
Shame the track is still troublesome tho Steve.

I doubt it, so I won't be holding my breath. very well said Steve. Well said, but wasted on such a blind and biased anti Tai poster. -

at least it's been made clear now. As expected there is an explanation, always last minute.com tho. From past experience missing match reports from 2010 won't appear either. -

where in the rules does it say you can use a 39 year old to replace a EDR? ? As usual the rules aren't clear. I am assuming the rules that applied last year apply this year but there is no clarity from the governing body. That's an attack at the governing body NOT Poole. How on earth can a PL heat leader who isn't British replace a British EDR rider?? What a farce that's getting more farcial with every day. Again, where are the rules on this? -
Always happy to agree to disagree.

Thank god for proper role models like Tai giving something back. Makes my proud to be British. Looks like the future is bright with Tai still on board helping the future generation of riders. Proud day for any child and parent that will be. -

 Not a chance of getting a guest of that standard. -
Off course it's irrelevant. Just because he is scoring OK abroad means nothing for the EL. Plenty of riders have had superb seasons abroad and been mediocre here over the past few seasons. Woffy anyone in 2014? My work is done.

You only have to read the posts of some to know that the do think stupidly. -
I'm certainly not dissing Davey, it seems clear he has issues right. Have always had fair respect for him. When he has guested for Wolves he has given a 110%. I wish the bloke well. You could basically replace Davey with anyone at the moment and it would be a better choice. Plus you are using an asset - I see no issue whatsoever.

Of course, all sensible parents wouldn't want the world's best in a chosen field advising their children on the sport. -
Only commenting on his form in the UK so it's irrelevant really what he is scoring abroad. Certainly didn't ridicule the signing just stating the obvious. Of course it's a win win for Poole. Watt has been dire so even if Bjarne scores as poor as he did for Leicester and brum he will probably still be scoring more than Watt at present. So yes, win win.
-
that's debatable if Bjarne would have done any better. but it's possible right? You haven't seen Bjarne ride for a few seasons then if you think then.
-
Signing Bjarne is a backward signing for any club, he has made a steady decline for years now. Makes sense tho for Poole as doubt Bjarne can be as bad as Watt although I can imagine a lengthy spell for him in reserve so it should be a win win.
